About

Country singer Kellie Pickler blazed her way to fame on the 2006 season of American Idol, where she won judges and voters over with her powerful voice, sweet country drawl, and down-to-earth attitude. At her 2013 live performances, Kellie continued to prove herself an impressive performer, treating ticket buyers to her strong vocals and notable stage presence as she belted out old favorites and new songs from her 2013 album The Woman I Am. Propelled by popular singles "Someone Somewhere Tonight" and "Little Bit Gypsy," The Woman I Am landed No. 1 on the Independent Albums chart and marked her fourth consecutive Top 5 release on the Top Country Albums chart.

Kellie is no stranger to talent competitions — before Idol, she participated in local singing contests and beauty pageants, including the Miss North Carolina competition. Although her primary focus has always been music, she has also proven herself a talented dancer, winning the 16th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2013.  After appearing on the American Idols LIVE! Tour 2006, Kellie released her debut album Small Town Girl, which featured the hit songs "Red High Heels" and "I Wonder." Her self-titled follow-up was released in 2008, reaching No. 9 on the Billboard 200 and earning her several more hits including "Don't You Know You're Beautiful" and "Makin' Me Fall in Love Again." With the release of The Woman I Am in 2013, Kellie delivered another strong batch of songs, garnering universal acclaim and building anticipation for her 2014 live concert dates.

Kellie Pickler is as sweet and sincere as ever. Her vocals were great. Loved her singing of some of the classics. She should make a recording of just classics. Having watched her from her first audtion with American Idol, it's nice to see her develop into a real performer.

    Overall Great Show

by HJSportsEd on 11/14/09Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

kellie Pickler, adorned with her red hair, came out strong for her Indianapolis concert. Sh sounded great - although there wasn't a need to hear it quiet so loudly! If you knew the songs, it was ok but when she was talking or singing a song that you didn't know, you could not understand her. Kellie sang a variety of songs from her previous, newly released and upcoming albums - which were all great (Rocks & Rice!) but she also tossed in a good handful of throwback country covers from older country artists. They were good but I think they lost some of the energy of the show since most of the audience was college aged students who didn't know those songs.
