It was an amazing night!! KC & the Sunshine Band sounded just as great as they did in the 1970's. The crowd was totally enjoying all the fun music, dancing, and performances. Best time I have had in YEARS!!! Loved, loved, loved it!!!
Great design on The Sound Amphitheater, entertainment was spot in. Crowd was awesome. We all had a great time!
The entertainment was fabulous. The food options were limited and very expensive. $10 for a coke is steep. Will probably get seats in the chair section next time as sitting on the lawn and watching isn’t an option with everybody else choosing to stand.
KC and The Sunshine Band was everything you wanted at a concert. The vocals, dancing, lights, and sound were top notch.
We went to see KC and the Sunshine Band at the inaugural opening of the Sound Amphitheater in Gautier MS. The band was more fun than I thought they would be...high energy and a great sound. We all sang and danced like we were back in the 70s. The Sound Amphitheater is a wonderful place to watch musical groups perform. It was easy to get into and easy to get out. The view was awesome. Bring a blanket if you aren't purchasing a seat.
Great new venue in Gautier. Still rocking after lol these yers. Will see home again
We’ve been to many, many KC & the Sunshine Band shows over the last 30 years. 2024 has new costumes, new show, fabulous performance's by KC, his backup singers, dancers, and all of the musicians! If you haven’t seen them before, or even lately, what are you waiting on? Their music is timeless, happy, exciting and vibrant! Highly recommend attending a concert near you! Hurry!
It was a little confusing at the beginning but it was there first opening of the sound amphitheater. I really love the show. Performance was outstanding and the drummer out did his self. Overall will go again.
Venue was great drink lines were a little long and they were expensive

I totally enjoyed KC and Sunshine band. The sound amphitheater actually is a great idea. But: Parking was absolutely crazy not to mention it was $10 cash but if you used a debit card you were charged 10. 70, and you had to pay to park. Even with the parking, you still had to walk a good distance….. just to get to the amphitheater good thing that we all could walk, right. Now once inside you had to deal with the crowds and I do mean crowds of people it reminded me of being at jazz fest… the beverage truck, there was only one 48 minutes. Wait in line to get one drink. The concessions were in my opinion very overrated and way overpriced $10 for a beer…. That would be a 12 ounce beer in a can. We did not even try to attempt to get food for fear of missing the show. Oh that’s right we didn’t get to see part of the show because we were standing still in line trying to get a drink. if you are not a small person, then you can forget about a comfortable seat. The chairs that they provided would not be adequate! I am very thankful I am small. Therefore, I was comfortable. The chairs that they provide are very small folding chairs, not even metal. And of course they are trying to get as many people in the space, with that said, there was no elbow room and I do mean literall! You were even touching peoples legs. You were so squished like sardines. I was like really no space between chairs at al!!!! I had one lady that kept elbow in me even though yes she was apologetic. It really wasn’t her fault. We were so close. You couldn’t even move very well between the two rows of seats without everyone having to stand up what a pain and it really was not planned out well. For this amphitheater, I truly feel that it was way amped up further more than the actual experience!!!! Definitely has a lot of areas that need improvement and to make people comfortable even to make the experience more fun and enjoyable. I cannot imagine being in this situation in the heat of the southern summer with someone’s sweaty leg next to mine touching mine. Yuck Especially if I am paying very big money to see a show!!!!!! Needless to say KC and the Sunshine band really did an excellent job and put on a great show!
The band was great. Super high energy. The new Sound Amphitheater in Gautier, MS was awful. No Federally mandated handicapped parking, parking lot was full of potholes, no markers to remind you where you parked, super long walk - especially for someone with a disability, no lights in the parking lot after the show.
Since we had to pay for parking, need to have more lighting after concert is over in that parking lot. That mall parking lot is not in the best of shape and there was no lights and couldn’t tell if I was about to step in a hole or trip. With the age group that went, mostly middle aged or older- we don’t need to fall. And label the parking ex; Isle A, Isle B, etc. we looked for our car for a while there were so many that parked in that area. The VIP parking should be cheaper- or maybe added to ticket price if you’re purchasing better seating. The food could be more variety. And was very expensive!
KC & The Sunshine Band has been on my concert bucket list for a long time. It was a great show. KC was very engaging, the band was fantastic and the new The Sound Amphitheater is a wonderful venue.
So much fun! Took my parents and they enjoyed it !!!!!
KC and the Sunshine Band was great, they played all their great memorable songs. There was no way you could be at this concert and not be moving around, dancing in your seat and keeping time to the music. Loved seeing them was so glad to have been able to see another one of his concerts.
I really enjoyed KC and the band and dancers. It was awesome seeing him and Im glad I got a chance to see him. He has a great sense of humor also.
this brought me back to a time in my childhood where it was a happy place for me. have always loved KC and the Sunshine Band. wish there was a photo shoot. excellent fun time
The concert and venue were great and well organized, however since this was my first time attending and not knowing what to expect I paid extra $$ to have paper tickets to be mailed to me. I never received them. Check your files and see what happened to them.
