Kathy Griffin Live Performance and Tour
Kathy Griffin, stand-up comedian, actress, author and television personality best known for her reality show Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. The double Emmy winning Chicago native is a multi-faceted performer with a rapid-fire wit. In Australia she is probably most recognisable for her four-year stint on the NBC sitcom "Suddenly Susan" as Vickie Groener, Brooke Shields' acerbic colleague. Kathy also had a recurring guest role on Seinfeld as the character Sally Weaver.
Famous for her signature style of social satire that has been perfected over the last 15 years, Kathy Griffin promises more stories, more dirt to dish, more of what she should not say but you know you want to hear than almost anyone in showbiz.
As a reviewer said "Ms. Griffin's appeal is in her ability to combine insider access to the world of the famous (or at least the pseudo-famous) and her willingness to be frank about its inhabitants. Kathy has the rare ability to talk to a giant audience as if it's an intimate conversation. She's the hilarious friend recounting day-to-day stories, except she never lets you get a word in edgewise".

Great funny lady- lots and lots of topical humor. Very engaging and knew how to read the various audience groups
She had the audience howling all night long! She is engaging in person and is a real ball of energy. She covered a lot of subjects with her jokes - all of the "Real Housewives of ..." casts, celebs, her mom, her show, etc.
I love how Kathy Griffin trashes movie and TV stars. This show, though, she talked alot aobut the housewives of Atlanta, NY, etc. I don't watch those shows. I probably would have gotten more out of the show if I did. Nevertheless, she was still hysterical.
Kathy always delivers and no old jokes! ..............
Kathy Griffin cracks me up and I really enjoyed myself at her show. My only disappointment was that she spent a long time talking about "The Real Housewives", which I don't watch so I was a bit lost for a good portion of the show.
Kathy Griffin was hilarious as usual. If you think she's funny on her show, you'll love her stand up.
Kathy Griffin put on a great show and was wonderful. Our only complaints were about the venue. Even after paying more for close in seats, the seats looked like they had not been cleaned in years. Also, the audio system was partially broken, keeping some of the audience from hearing the show and interrupting the whole performance. 5 stars for Kathy, 2 stars for the Merriweather Post Pavilion.
What a joy!!! I nearly split a gut. Any Team Griffin Member needs to get their butt out there to one of her shows and experience the tiny, mighty wonder that is Kathy!!!!!
Sometimes crude is funny, but this was not, If I were a gay or lesbian person I would have found it to be very offensive. She went on and on about "celebrities" that I have never heard of and I guess I must live under a rock, but I am out living life not watching these ridiculous reality shows that she referred to constant;ly. I love stand up comedy, but I thought this show was awful. Very disappointing. My 18 year old son went with me in place of my husband and even he agreed it was horrible. What awaste of time and money.
Put her on the A-List! She was absolutely hilarious! She was definitely for the adults. She knew the crowd and how to work it. She made it personal to the Baltimore/Washington area. I got kinda lost when she talked about the Real Housewives for 20 minutes or so. But, overall, she was great! I am glad I finally got to see her.
"There's not a lot of a$$ to kiss -- when you're livin life on the D list!" I heart this woman and the show. She had me holding my stomach from laughing so hard. No celebrity and no group were left unscathed! It was a bloodbath - a funny, dead-on bloodbath. Had a bad week? Go see Kathy and get ready to roar! :) Excellent experience. Exactly what I knew it would be - funny, outrageous, raunchy, irreverent. In other words: Huge.
Kathy was very funny, which we expected. The show started about 20-25 minutes late, seemed like it was because of people not being in seets vs. being Kathy...she should have just started. Show ended abruptly, that was on Kathy though.
The show was so good! I havent laughed that hard in a long time!
I was really excited to see everyone's favorite redhead. And she didn't disappoint. Her entire routine was hilarious and I loved every minute of it. Can't wait for her to come around again.
Seen Kathy before live and enjoyed her show; however, this time was NOT fun. Material reflected mainly Reality TVShows that not everyone could relate to and venue Loge chairs were HORRIBLY uncomfortable.
Kathy often gets a little too distracted for my taste. I also think she sometimes lingers on a punch line way too long. Overall very funny though.
Fantastic Performance! Could not wait to see the show and Kathy Griffin does NOT disappoint....she is an A-List performer...a must see!!
My wife and I attended the show for our 25th wedding anniversery. She is a huge K.G. fan and I haven't seen her that excited in years!
I was appalled and incensed by Kathy Griffin's usage of the word "Pollack" to refer to her mother's assistant throughout the beginning of her routine. Other ethnic slurs are not permitted. The word "Pollack" is an ethnic slur. Her routine would have been just as "funny" had she used the word "Polish." There was no reason to use the ethnic slur. If she can use this one, does this give her license to use others? I certainly hope not, and I hope she stops using this one. Using this word did not make her act funny or her a liberal or anything besides a bigot.
The show was amazing and Kathy was hilarious!!!!!!
