Kathleen Madigan Tickets

This was a terrific show. Kathleen was as funny and entertaining as ever. There is no funnier woman in the country. Would go again when she is in town.

First off, it was nice not to hear bashing of our elected leaders. Yes, there were a few shots, but nothing like the past. She related stories to her life in LA and her parents. I laughed so hard a few times that I was crying. Just a note from the show, Cows move slow. You have to see the show. If you can see her, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

She's the best comedian I've ever seen! Too funny for words!

John DiBella said it all in his introduction - Kathleen Madigan is the best woman stand up comic today. She delivers from the time she walks out onto the stage, and doesn't stop for well over an hour. My husband and I were crying by the end, we were laughing so hard. The only down side? My stomache hurts today from laughing too much!

Loved seeing the show last night at the Keswick. Kathleen Madigan didn't fail to entertain and make me laugh through the entire show. So enjoy her sense of humor! Well worth the trek out and about on our somewhat cleared PA frozen tundra roads. I would tell anyone to go see her as she does an outstanding job at making us laugh at life, and ourselves!! I saw her in Vegas and was SO happy that she was coming to the Keswick. Bring her back soon.

Both the opening act and the headliner were excellent. The comedic material was fresh and current. There was disruptive conversation coming from the concession stand area, during the opening act. This could be corrected with physical barriers or a change in policy. Parking is limited and the recent snow exacerbated the limited parking.

I had never seen Kathleen in concert but have all her CD's Its was so much better to see her in person. Her comedy is truly unique to her. I would come see her again and again! Keswick Theatre is the perfect venue!!!

The warm-up act, Salim (sp?), was intelligent, funny, edgy and the perfect "appetizer" for Kathleen as the main course. He was also very generous towards Kathleen and you got the sense that while they may not know each other real well, they are both kind. Kathleen Madigan is gorgeous, sexy, cute, funny, and the first woman I've met who makes me think (albeit briefly) about adultery....and, man, is she funny! Topical, clever, self-deprecating, down-to-earth, "everyman", and funny, funny, funny. I won't miss another show in this area. Ran a little bit long at the end, but that might be more about the hard seats and poor seating position demanded by the lay out of the tables and chairs.

How do you say she was fabulous fabulous fabulous???!!! I would see her over and over again. Kathleen Madigan knows how to talk about the things that make you laugh and everyone should laugh that hard every day of their lives!

This was the 4th time I have seen Kathleen Madigan and hopefully will not be my last. Her humor is sarcastic and biting, but without being really mean and is never crude. Her stories about her siblings and parents always ring true and everyone can see a bit of their own relationships with parents in her stories. By the end of the evening, my stomach actually hurt from laughing so much. I have one complaint - when I have seen her at the Improv in the past she always met her fans afterward. She did not do that this time and I was very dissapointed. I'm just hoping that she is not becoming a comedy diva (a la Kathy Griffith) One of the best things about her is that she is so down to earth and just like a 'real' person to her fans. Kathleen - if you are reading this - don't lose that quality! Her opening act - Saleem was ok. He had some really funny lines, but sometimes, especially his comments about Obama boardered on being over the top

I have attended dozens of comedy shows. This show ranks in the top 5.

We had a group of 6. 2 had been to the Birchmere before and 4 had not. Everyone loved the facility. The show was fantastic. Both comedians were hilarious. Did not know what to expect for a warm up, but Saleem (sp) was great. I saw Kathleen on Last Comic Standing and have listened to her for years. I had heard very little of what she performed last night. It was 90+% new stuff, which is refreshing. So many times you go to something like this and it is all material you have heard over and over. Even though I have heard quite a bit of her, most of what she did was new and current. She built in the current events and her travels. She made it all fresh and kept it going for the whole show. We will be back. The group was already planning the next trip to the Birchmere before the night was over. Thanks for a great night out for a great value. And the food was terrific, too.

Kathleen once again, delivered an outstanding performance at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA last night! Her impeccable timing and overall delivery of material sets her apart from others! Over the years, very few female comedians have been able to remain relevant. Not since Lucille Ball, Phyllis Diller, Tracy Ullman, Wanda Sykes and a few others, has another woman fit the definition of a true, seasoned professional. From her daily observations, her views of Catholicism, and her thoughts on her family - right down to her mom & dad arguing inside a US Army tank, Kathleen's unique perspective highlights moments that everyone can understand - if not relate to somehow! Overall a very enjoyable evening - I would certainly go see her again if she's ever in town! Heck, I might even travel a bit if she's playing within 100 miles.. ;-)

Kathleen Madigan is one if my favorite stand up comics. She always has fresh material which is in tune with what's going on. Can't wait until she comes back!

Kathleen came out and just ripped through all of her material the entire show! She had so much great new stuff! Everone was laughing to tears! I've seen her for several years and followed her through LCS. I love her on those vh1 or E show panels too. I wish she'd Go on Chelsea Lately. The two of them can polish off a bottle of Goose and really have a great show!

From start to finish, Kathleen Madigan was a riot. I had to control my laughter so I didn't miss her next line. The whole audience was laughing hysterically. Wonderful show.

A few of my friends went to the show and had a very fun night! Kathleen was very topical and kept us all laughing throughout her show!

This was my first time seeing Kathleen in person and she was outstanding! From the moment she took the stage, it was non-stop laughs for 90 minutes! I hope the next time she comes to the area she has enough fans for multiple shows!

i have enjoyed this woman's humor for years and finally got to see her. her material was 98% fresh and i laughed so hard my FACE and RIBS hurt! so many comedians today rely on crude sexual or bathroom type humor. ms. madigan is a very intelligent comic and finds the humor in almost anything. not to mention she is very cute and personable. if you get the chance to see her......JUST DO IT! she is truly in a class by HERSELF.
