Kang Daniel on Tour
The charismatic South Korean singer and actor Kang Daniel is a storyteller, first and foremost. He weaves his personal story, including triumphs, disappointments, grief and fear, in a blend of genres, including alternative R&B, hip-hop, trap, and synth-pop.
His solo debut EP, Color on Me, was released in 2019 and topped South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. He released the EPs Cyan and Magenta in 2020, also topping the Gaon Album Chart. He won global acclaim in 2021, landing at No. 5 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart and No. 2 on the Gaon Digital Chart with the hit single "Paranoia." The final EP of the color trilogy, Yellow, was released in 2021 and topped the Gaon Album Chart, giving him his first No. 1 single in South Korea with "Antidote." Yellow was ranked No. 2 in Rolling Stone India's Best K-pop Albums of 2021 list.
In 2021, "State of Wonder," a single by Inverness featuring Kang Daniel and Anthony Russo, became Kang's first American collaboration. He released his debut full-length album, The Story, under his label KONNECT Entertainment, in May of 2022.
Kang Daniel Live in Concert
Kang Daniel (Kang Eui-geon) was born on December 10, 1996, in Busan, South Korea. He changed his name to Kang Daniel because Eui-geon was too hard to pronounce. A bible character is the inspiration for the choice of "Daniel."
He began dancing in a b-boy club in the eighth grade at a teacher's suggestion. He attended the Nataraja Academy, a dance studio in Busan. He then attended the Peniel High School of the Arts as a modern dance major with ballet as a second major.
Kang Daniel catapulted to fame when he won first place on the second season of the reality competition series "Produce 101." He was a member of the show's resulting boyband Wanna One. He began his solo career in 2019 and quickly became one of the most significant solo acts in South Korea, earning him the nickname "Nation's Center."
He made his acting debut on the Disney+ original series "Rookie Cops" in 2022.
He is a great performer and I enjoyed his show very much! He has a variety of music style so it’s something that many people can enjoy! He interacted with the crowd great and he’s just the cutest! Overall great experience!
Loved it. Went in as a fan, came out as a bigger fan. Will absolutely see him again if he comes back!
I am a HUGE Kang Daniel fan, so we were excited to see him and sprung for really good seats and the VIP experience. I was especially excited that it was being held at one of my favorite smaller venues in LA. The show was incredible. He is an amazing live performer and sings and dances so well, as do his very talented back up dancers! There was so much attention to detail. That all being said, we felt let down by the VIP experience. The free VIP gift was cute/fine. We just didn't love how disorganized the queuing system was (and the staff weren't terribly nice or communicative). When we went up for the group photo, there was no info about how we will later access the photo (thankfully I found out from a friend who went to a show in another city) and they also let him be mobbed by a few pushier people (who got selfies, autographs, etc.) whereas we didn't get any interaction since we weren't super pushy and didn't throw ourselves at him. The staff hurried us all along, but didn't keep things fair, if that makes sense. At least we all got a quick high five when he first came out, so there's that! But I don't know if I'd do another VIP experience based on this experience. That all aside, we LOVED the show and hope he tours in LA again! <3
I only heard of nirvana, and saw he was having a concert. I love supporting artists so decided to go, and be surprised. He put on a great concert with lots of energy. As a soloist, his choreography still comes together like some of the top boy groups. I definitely recommend his concerts and music.

I am so happy we went to see Kang Daniel 😁 his interaction with us was great, the setlist was AMAZING!! We enjoyed the entire show. And he is adorable!!! Love him
It was my first time seeing him in concert and it was amazing. He should be very proud of himself for all that he has been through and how hard he is worked to get to where he is now. The performances were great, he has an amazing voice and is a great dancer. His backup dancers, including the sound guy at the end :), were also amazing. They were definitely an added bonus! I had a great time and would definitely go and see him again!
First of all, Kang Daniel concert is perfect, and the staffs of Wilton theater are very kind. Just one thing, my seat was in the front row, but the stage was too high. If it was a little lower, i would have felt more happiness seeing the artist up close. But overall, i was satisfied for this concert. Thank you.
Kang Daniel was amazing. His performance and his love and respect for his fans after the show. Henwas so humble and sweet. I would definitely recommend anyone to see his show!! Thank you Kang Daniel for a show and experience to remember!

He seems to be a very genuine and honest person, incredibly cute. Everything about him is fascinating, he is the king of “walking hormone”s.

I have been waiting to see Daniel perform live for years and finally being able tl do so has been a dream come true. Hes a true performer and has so much charisma through ever stage. He has great interactions with the crowd and makes each show truly unique.
I bought my tickets as soon as they went on sale so excited he was coming to Chicago. Drove from Missouri to see him. Kang Daniel put on a great concert and was looking forward to the meet and greet that was disappointing spent extra money on a meet and greet and didn't even get to meet him as we were on the end of 12 people for the photo and didn't even know he came and went. Didn't even get a hi or bye from him as we walked away i didn't even see him so it was very disappointing and sad as i was really looking forward to meeting him. The concert was Amazing just don't do the meet and greet. Disappointed all the way home.
Saw him in Dallas at the House of Blues. The crowd was super nice and it was such a good atmosphere. There was no pushing of shoving. This was my first kpop concert (I have gone to a lot of rock and country concerts) and maybe the general vibe is different, but I certainly didn’t expect the kindness of all the fans. Maybe it was just my experience? Anyway, Daniel was very entertaining and the dancing was exciting. Loved the setlist and I was happy to hear my favorites. He is really entertaining. He would stop to talk to the fans every few songs, which was a nice change of pace from bleeding from one song to the next.
We had a great time at Kang Daniel! He was professional and very likable! Thanks for coming to Dallas!
The artist Kang Daniel put on an amazing live performance, his singing and dancing was great. I felt like the tickets were underpriced for the high quality of the concert that he put on. I had a good view from the 2nd floor seats and the security staff were friendly and helpful. I hope he comes back to Dallas for another concert soon, I will definitely attend the next one.
Kang Daniel is such an inspiring artist and it was phenomenal and touching to see him in person! I love the House of Blues and it was a fantastic venue to see him at =)! I regret nothing, and it was a beautiful experience!
