About

Justin Timberlake on Tour

The multi-talented Justin Timberlake continually tops himself. In 2013 he dropped the No. 1 album The 20/20 Experience and later in the year launched the 20/20 Experience World Tour. Both were among the year’s major events in music, sending critics to write rave reviews and fans to grab albums and tickets.

Timberlake enjoyed success from an early age. After being a Disney Mouseketeer and a member of one of the most successful boy bands in music history, he went on to have a celebrated solo career, star in movies, become a TV producer and restaurateur, get named the world’s sexiest man by Cosmopolitan, and world’s best dressed man by GQ -- all by the age of 30. After leaving the Mickey Mouse Club in 1994, Timberlake formed ‘'N Sync to the delight of screaming fans across the globe, helping to kick off the vocal-harmonizing boy band phenomenon that would take hold of the pop world for years to come. Itching for more sonic experimentation, he launched his solo career with Justified (2002), his R&B-esque debut produced by Timbaland and The Neptunes, which spawned the dance floor hit “Rock Your Body.” His next release, FutureSex/LoveSounds (2006) ushered in the pop gems “SexyBack,” “My Love,” and “What Goes Around…Comes Around.” He then took a break from his own music to co-write and produce songs for Duran Duran, make guest appearances on albums by 50 Cent and Ciara, and star in movies including The Social Network and Bad Teacher. He returned to music in 2013 with The 20/20 Experience which produced the hit single “Suit and Tie” featuring Jay-Z.

    Justin Timberlake did NOT perform!!!

by Neerav on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

We were very disappointed that the event was dubbed as Justin Timberlake and Friends but Justin did not do one song the entire evening. Even the co-host Wayne Brady did an entire segment. We expected to see JT do one set for the kids, but he did not and that was very, very disappointing. Also, the show started about 30 minutes late and ended around 1:30 AM, which we did not mind, but at the end of the show, everyone that remained was chanting "Justin, Justin" for one last appearance, but he did not come out. That was really sad. Finally, it seemed to take some time between performers for Justin and Wayne to come out. That slowed down the enthusiasm significantly.

by TeamB on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

The bands that played were awesome....Earth Wind Fire/ Sugar Hill Gang/ Commodores/ Vanilla Ice/ etc.... BUT JUSTIN DID NOT PERFORM!!!!! HOW CAN HE HEADLINE AND NOT PERFORM.... ITS TOTALLY MISREPRESENTATIVE...HE COULD HAVE SANG 2-3 AND BEEN DONE... People payed a lot for these tickets.....the other bands were not the primary reason. Between tix, flights, etc...we were out $4K

    a HUGE disappointment!!!!!

by Anonymous on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

Extremely upset that Justin didn't perform at all, not even one song! And then when the show was over, didn't come out to say thank you and goodbye!!! That's just wrong, he should be ashamed of himself. So many audience members came from very far away and paid a lot of money. The other artists were GREAT (Vanilla Ice- not so much...), but from now on they should call the show "Justin Timberlake's Friends".

    Misleading

by DisappointedFan34 on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

Concert was ok. The advertising was MISLEADING. Justin Timberlake did not even sing. He came out to introduce the acts and was on stage for approx 20 mins total. The bigger acts went on and on and on. People in front of me actually fell asleep. 99.9% of people went to see Justin Timberlake and he didn't sing once. He has sung in past years. The only good thing is that the money went to Shriners and not JT. Lame, lame, lame. I will never go again. Based our Vegas trip around this concert, never again.

    not too happy

by sillyme731 on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

I was very disappointed with this show and the meet and greet. I spent $940 for each ticket and Justin didn't even sing one song. As for the meet and greet, we didn't even get to have a picture taken with Justin alone. We were lumped in a group of 10 for the picture. I have never seen that for a meet and greet. Seriously, for that kind of money I would have expected to at least get a photo with Justin alone.

    Decent Show, No JT

by Kool2Zero on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

I bought these tickets for my wife for her graduation and we traveled half way across the country to see JT perform along with the other acts. We were very disappointed when he did not perform, or even close out the show. The Commodores played their last song and the lights turned on in the auditorium. Everyone was dumbfounded. A six hour concert, no JT performance and not even a goodnight? I was very upset and disappointed, but not as much as my wife who has been a fan since she was 14. It is very doubtful if we will go to this again. The acts were good except for Vanilla Ice and Charlie Wilson's shreaking whistle.

    Justin Timberlake Disappointed!

by Anonymous on 10/4/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

Lots of great bands but felt like it was complete false advertisement. It was advertised as Justin and friends but there was no such performance by Justin himself. Next time make it known that he's only going to be the MC and not singing. Very Very disappointed!

    JT let me down!!!

by Mlucky1015 on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

I feel bad for giving the show such a poor rating... Only because Sister Sledge, Color Me Badd, Earth Wind and Fire, the Commodores, even Charlie Wilson put on a great show... BUT HOW CAN JUST NOT EVEN SING ONE SONG!?!?! I get that he's a successful actor now and that's his "thing" at the moment, but come on, Justin! We wanted to see/hear you sing!!! Just ONE song would have been a fabulous finale. I was entirely disappointed. I do have to add that Wayne Brady is AMAZING!!!

    Justin didn't sing

by AFHaze on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

My expectation, and the expectation of everyone seated around me was that this was a Justin Timberlake concert with other bands sprinkled in as well. That was totally not the case, and everyone was disappointed. Justin didn't sing anything at all! Thankfully all the other bands were really good (except for Charlie Wilson who was way too loud and went on for the longest out of everyone), and the gig lasted five hours. But Justin disappointed again at the end when he didn't even bother coming back on stage at the end to say thank you and goodnight. It ended really abruptly and people were shouting obscenities because we'd waited so long and then it was over with no real closure. Very odd. We enjoyed it, but we never would have paid that much money or specifically gone to Vegas to go see these bands play -- we paid for Justin Timberlake and we didn't get him.

    JT didn't perform!

by Anonymous on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

Really disappointed JT didn't perform! Was mislead when tickets were announced. Said "Justin Timberlake" not "and friends" when concert was first announced. Then when it went after it went on sale and I bought tickets it then was listed as JT and friends, but friends' acts weren't listed until 2 weeks before concert. Mad. Next year let us know in advance if JT will perform or not!

    rip-off

by ancientone on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

My ticket said Justin Timberlake on it and he didn't perform. He performed more on Saturday Night Live when he didn't perform. I don't like to be deceived when I purchase a ticket to an event. Thousands of people were very disappointed when the show ended with no performance by Justin Timberlake. He didn't even stick around to thank everyone for coming and making it a successful night. He probably doesn't like the sound of BOO! I'm so glad I bought a cheap seat, I just wanted to see Justin Timberlake perform live. I wasn't out as much as most.

    Disappointed

by dfly0101 on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

I was extremely excited to attend this concert. The acts were good and I had forgotten how truly talented Color Me Badd, Vanilla Ice, and Sugar Hill Gang really were and obviously still are. It was unfair to the acts toward the end of the concert that the performances were too long. Many audience members left. 4.5 hours is simply too long. But the most disappointing of all was the fact that Justin Timberlake did NOT sing....not even 1 song. I heard many ticket buyers complain about this. If it's going to be called Justin and Friends, then Justin and friends should sing. Be clear about that fact.

Awesome concert but HE did NOT sing!

by Mayareunion on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

I loved all the singers on stage but I was disappointed because Justin didn't sing and he did not say thank you or goodbye after the last act. He was a good host, goofy and said thanks at the beginning but still I was hopping more than that, it's called JUSTIN and friends and last year I heard that he was singing. I would still wanna go back next year because it was a lot of fun even if I am a little disappointed.

    Justin Timberlake's Amazing FRIENDS

by EMG1129 on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

Unforgettable Event!! Best concert ever. 4 Hrs. 45 Mins. To see Earth, Wind & Fire, with the Commodores, Color Me Badd, Sister Sledge coupled with Sugar Hill Gang (one of the group had just lost his Mom 2 days prior, but decided to perform, dedicating this to his Mother) was just Out of this World. And Wayne Brady.....so much talent.

Great performers minus vanilla ice! Wish jt would have performed!

I definitely recommend this event. So many acts and well worth your money. The concert lasted over 5 hours. We didn't eat dinner before the concert, so we were a little cranky toward the end. We would have left early, but we stayed hoping JT would perform and he didn't. JT not performing was kind of a bummer, but overall the event was good and entertaining.

Should perform at your own concert

by JustinFan4Ever on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

All the acts were entertaining and the music phenominal...however...it was waaay too long. Justin needs to invite less friends or his friends need to sing only their two or three BEST songs. I've attended all 4 concerts benefiting the shriner's children's hospital. This one was by far the most disappointing simply because it REALLY SUCKED Justin did NOT perform at all. Not one song. Who does he think we paid to see? His friends or him?

Justin didn't even perform at all!!!

by Terilynn56 on 10/3/11Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino - Las Vegas

Very disappointed that Justin didn't sing even one song! I don't mind paying for the ticket because it was for a great cause....but....wow!!! I went last year and it was amazing...this year was just awful!!!! He didn't even bother to say goodbye to the audiance just never came back....so terrible...so disapointing!
