JUNO Cup Tickets

It was really cool to be able to see the "rocks vs. jocks" -- favorite rockers versus famous alumni. The game was also very exciting. The lines were very long at the concession stands. And, it would have been great to get a straight answer as to which side the Rockers were on vs. which side the Jocks were on; conflicting information was given to many different attendees. In all, it was a very fun night, the game was exciting and the extra shoot outs and other contests were fun too. It was a challenge for us to get back to Vancouver since we were not from the area and did not know the cab rules; so for future events tips on that would be very handy.

I was disappointed to see such a marginal turnout at the Rock vs Jock event. Too bad, because it was quite entertaining. It was fun to see the Rock's putting on their skates and having a lot of fun on the ice. It was fun to see the ex-NHL-ers playing, too. And having fun as well. The whole feeling was one of fun, and that was a good feeling. The MC was great. Too bad the microphone kept cutting out. Couldn't someone have done something about that? It made a real difference a couple of times in the program. The song competition between Jamie Macoun and Jim Cuddy was fun and funny; the skills competition was entertaining; the final couple of plays with the entire Rocks team on the ice at once! It was all a lot of fun, and deserved a better audience. Also, I was disappointed the teams didn't exchange ends for the second half. But, still glad to be there and enjoy the show and be entertained.
