About

Created by the Emmy®-winning writer from "Schitt's Creek," this hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told. & Juliet asks: what would happen next if Juliet didn't end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love--her way.

Juliet's new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, including "Since U Been Gone" "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life" "That's The Way It Is," and "Can't Stop the Feeling!"--all from the genius songwriter/producer behind more #1 hits than any other artist this century. Break free of the balcony scene and get into this romantic comedy that proves there's life after Romeo. The only thing tragic would be missing it.

  • High hopes gone unfulfilled

This was the event I had been looking forward to. There was so much to like about the musical. The actors, storyline, and song selections were great. Unfortunately the creators felt the need to rearrange every song, most of which were less than ideal.

  • Great show, super high energy

by G of NC on 10/6/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Loved this show! The cast brought the energy the whole night. There were some sound level issues that were quickly resolved early in the show, but I think that's typical of touring productions. Would recommend everyone see this!

Great show, great cast - hard to not enjoy such a funny, well-written show with song after song you know and can sing along to. Love the play within the play and dynamics between William and Anne.

  • A Must See!!!

    by Sremlahc_Mik on 10/3/24Rating: 5 out of 5

Even before the lights went down this show was HYPE!!! What a great twist to an old story. I loved the women empowerment theme. Loved the wittiness and how the pop song choices just fit. If all Shakespearean plays could be rewritten and told like this ... I want it that way!!!

  • Tell me why

  • The timing and music were all on point!!!💞👌🏾

by A.D..O. on 10/1/24Hippodrome at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center - BaltimoreRating: 5 out of 5

From the placement of fixtures (background, lights and furniture) to the music which had great highs ,lows and purpose. The characters who worked that script like a fine meal. The comedy the conflict with wild twist 🤣 it had just enough predictability for you to follow but the twist added to the drama and excitement. We loved rhe name swap at the end. 👍🏾 Great show 👏 👍🏾 💞
