About

Created by the Emmy®-winning writer from "Schitt's Creek," this hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told. & Juliet asks: what would happen next if Juliet didn't end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love--her way.

Juliet's new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, including "Since U Been Gone" "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life" "That's The Way It Is," and "Can't Stop the Feeling!"--all from the genius songwriter/producer behind more #1 hits than any other artist this century. Break free of the balcony scene and get into this romantic comedy that proves there's life after Romeo. The only thing tragic would be missing it.

  • An amazing night out with my kids

by Rmat on 10/10/25San Jose Center for the Performing Arts - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

I took the kids on a school night. It was the best thing I did. My 9 year old and 11 year old loved the boy band era music of my time. The plot and storyline was fun, progressive, feminist and just fun. Standing ovation to the team. We loved every moment. Thank you!!!

  • LAUGH! SING! DANCE! REPEAT

by YvonneBee on 10/10/25San Jose Center for the Performing Arts - San JoseRating: 5 out of 5

Go to this show. Just go! Do NOT read anything about it or listen to the music beforehand. This leaves it full of SURPRISES. We had the BEST time since we knew absolutely nothing about it and just enjoyed every single second. The voices, the dancing, the script - BRILLIANT. GO!

  • I Didn’t Know What To Expect

by Drama Queen on 8/6/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I adore Shakespeare and have directed a number of his plays so I got every reference. This adaptation was funny and inspiring. Even though the music is all popular hits, it was a foot tapping joy to listen. The actors are very talented and brought an energy that made it hard not to sing along.

Absolutely phenomenal performance! The performers singing, dancing, and message was powerful! I would see it again in a heartbeat! Heartfelt thank you to the entire cast. Totally uplifting spirit...much needed in today's erosion of democracy.

  • So much energy and fun!

by Cari on 8/5/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I didn’t know what to expect with this show- I really didn't look into it at all. I saw the list of songs and bought tickets for my 14 year old daughter and myself. The show was original, fun, and unexpected! There were many characters to love with unique personalities. My daughter and I both agree that if the show came around another year we would jump to see it again!

  • Creative and exciting take on Romeo and Juliet

by Wlogan on 8/5/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

This musical was full of upbeat, exciting music that was creatively used to retell a new take on Romeo and Juliet. It was a modern version of a love story gone wrong. Loved having William and Anne as characters.

  • Spectacular

by Adiaz on 8/3/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

It’s an amazing show—so fun! The performances were fantastic, except for Frankie and Romeo, who were both underwhelming compared to the rest of the cast. The only real problem was the venue: it was so warm there. We were all sweating in our seats!

  • Fantastic Modern Rewrite of Romeo + Juliet

by Mom of 4 on 8/1/25Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

After going into the show knowing nothing about it (my sisters insisted I not look up anything) I was absolutely amazed by this show! It was so empowering for women in an humorous way and also had a great positive message for relationships and love. The creativity and mashups with music was so surprising and thrilling. It was a must see and I can’t wait to see it again. My kids can’t wait to see it again too. They were totally amazed.
