About

Created by the Emmy®-winning writer from "Schitt's Creek," this hilarious new musical flips the script on the greatest love story ever told. & Juliet asks: what would happen next if Juliet didn't end it all over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she ditches her famous ending for a fresh beginning and a second chance at life and love--her way.

Juliet's new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, including "Since U Been Gone" "Roar," "Baby One More Time," "Larger Than Life" "That's The Way It Is," and "Can't Stop the Feeling!"--all from the genius songwriter/producer behind more #1 hits than any other artist this century. Break free of the balcony scene and get into this romantic comedy that proves there's life after Romeo. The only thing tragic would be missing it.

  • Excellent Show

Took my 8-year-old to the show. I knew more of the songs than she did. She watched about 90% of it, got bored when it got more into the middle of the second act. But afterwards she said she liked the show.

It was girls night out at the theater and we were not disappointed. All four of us left the theater talking about the show, singing, and dancing all the way to our car. The acting was good, the story was good and the singing was phenomenal. Cheers!

Romeo and Juliet with a new spin, what if? Fun, fresh, and funny. Very rarely do I go to a show that I know nothing about, it was great to go to a show with fresh new eyes and be able to laugh and sing along with all the way through. I want to see it again!!

Gammage is a wonderful venue to see a Broadway Touring Show, especially musicals. The sound quality is excellent there. And this show was so much fun with singalong music and sly humor. Especially delightful for fans of Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet.

  • So much fun!

I didn't look into what this show was about prior to seeing it. Other than seeing an advertisement online I had no idea what the context would be. I wanted to be surprised and this show did not disappoint! From beginning to end it was great..the entire cast were perfect, the music was so good...kudos to the band and while all of the performers sang well, Juliette was spectacular...what a voice! Fun concept, great performances, excellent music and laughter, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking to have a great night out don't miss this show!

We absolutely enjoyed the show. Wonderful choreography and talented cast. The music flowed with the story and had us laughing, crying and cheering all throughout the show.

  • Such a fun show!

This show is amazing! The score is the soundtrack of my youth. I was dancing to songs by Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and Britney Spears. The set design is a feast for the eyes and the actors gave fantastic performances. We attended the last show of our city's stop on the tour and the actors came out to sign programs at the end. Such a cool experience. Highly recommend!!!

The cast were wonderful. Great voices & choreography. Funny spin on the traditional Romeo & Julie.

  • Far more than I expected!

by Greywire on 11/11/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Everyone know that the music in this piece slaps but the story is WAY more clever and engaging than I anticipated. So much so that I was fascinated trying to figure out what might happen next. And with all but one of the actors delivering spectacular vocals, I would gladly see this production again. Cannot say enough good things about Fabiola! I watched her win her Jimmy and knew that she was destined to be a star!

  • Incredible! Must See!

by Julie on 11/10/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

This is now my favorite theatre play (and I see many every year). The story, music, singing, dancing and effects were amazing. I loved all of the themes -- love, independence, growth, relationships, parenting and embracing who we are. One minute I'm crying, and the next I'm laughing or cheering. Bravo to the cast, writers, musicians, choreographers, and all the many people who make a production like this come together. Get ready to be uplifted and have a ton of fun! Brilliant!
