About

As a founding member of Three 6 Mafia and an integral player in the birth of crunk, Memphis rapper Juicy J has a hip hop pedigree that few other rap artists can touch. After signing to longtime collaborator Wiz Khalifa’s label in 2011, Juicy J released his third solo album Stay Trippy in 2013 to positive reviews and a No. 4 spot on the Billboard 200. The album, a veritable who’s who of hip hop, features collaborations with some of the genre’s biggest names, including Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz on “Bandz a Make Her Dance” and Big Sean and Young Jeezy on “Show Out.” In 2006, Juicy J and Three 6 Mafia became the first hip hop group to win an Academy Award for Best Original Song, taking home the Oscar for “It’s Hard out Here for a Pimp,” their contribution to the 2005 film Hustle and Flow. For fans with tickets to his tour, Juicy J puts on a live concert with plenty of raw energy and a generous serving of his signature swagger.

    MGK Luv

    by SunDaze21 on 11/30/13UIC Pavilion - Chicago

MGK turned up chi town!! Juicy J sucks, no stage performance no hype, nothing. The audio needed some serious mike checking could not hear clearly from the balcony but still worth it to see Kells truely perform and feel his crazy energy

Juicy J completely killled it!! MGK as well. Saguto sucked and didn't know how to interact with the crowd or hype anyone up. Would never go see him again.

Juicy J clearly does not take his job or his fans seriously. The concert started at 7, and he did not come on til about 11:20 or so. Clearly this is extremely unacceptable. Overall juicy did not care about this concert and I would not even recommend my worst enemy to go to one of his concerts. Waiting for him was excruciating and many people had left before he even came on stage. His promoter, Neal, from Vybe Nation, handled his job terribly as well. Apparently Juicy was not getting paid enough, which is also ridiculous. Like seriously juicy you're really not that famous and your concert was under $30. You're not lil Wayne so get over it.

Showed up 4 ½ hours late. Waste of money. Bad performance. Don't bother.

    Disappointment

by Disappointeddcustomerr on 11/12/13Jannus Live - St Petersburg

This concert was a waste of time and money. We had to sit through stalling from random DJ's because juicy j refused to come on stage. It began at 7 and he didn't show up until 11:30, giving us only a 30 minute disappointing performance. He shortened all of the songs just to be able to fit in a few before the venue closed. Everyone who bought these tickets should get a refund.

    Juicy J sucks!!

by Audrey2312 on 11/12/13Jannus Live - St Petersburg

This is the worst concert I've ever been to.. I wouldn't even call it a concert. I basically wasted $30 to stand in a shitty packed venue and listen to Juicy's nobody openers perform cover rap songs for four hours because Juicy J was refusing to get out of his car due to the fact that he wasn't getting as much money as he wanted. He finally came on about 40 minutes before the show had to end. The four hours of waiting wasn't worth it. He sucked anyways.

If i'm going to wait for 3 hours to see juicy j, can you at least get some artist who do more than just rap karaoke?

    Horrible

by Charisse5555 on 11/12/13Jannus Live - St Petersburg

They had some dumbass people perform that we're actually nobodies for at least 3 hours. Then juicy j wouldn't come on because he wasn't being paid enough. That just shows he doesn't care about his fans one bit. Then people left since it was past 11:30 and he came on but there was no reentry. He only sang a verse from each song. Over all horrible.

by JCobi on 6/17/13Echostage - Washington

It was LIVE! Juicy J took a lil while comin out, thats the only reason this doesnt get 5 stars and it was right next to stadium. Let us blow in there and drinks was all over. Security was very cordial. I would like to come back.

    Terrible.

by StoneyBalogna on 6/16/13Echostage - Washington

Thought Juicy came on at 9 so got there at 8. Stood in line til 930 then had to wait FIVE HOURS til 1am to see juicy and he only was on for 45 min! Not to mention we almost missed the metro cuz the show ended so late and the shuttle took forever. I will never go to another show at echostage again. Or juicy show. Fun but too short for 30 bucks

    Juicy J was late

    by Rah2Smoove on 6/16/13Echostage - Washington

I was really enjoying myself at the show until I noticed Juicy J was extremely late. The DJ tried his best to entertain the crowd, but he started repeating the most popular songs, which was very noticeable. Also, he was even spinning some of Juicy J's records, which we were anticipating the entire night. Juicy J finally shows up and that's when I started to have again again, but he only performed for like 15 minutes which I didn't appreciate. He also did not apologize for being late and having his fans wait.
