Judy Torres was excellent as always! She is a wonderful singer! Stereo Garden needs to do a freestyle event at least once a month! Next time, you need to also have Lisa Lisa, George Lamond, of course TKA. Also, would be nice to see more of Vic Latino, and less of Speedy!
Loved the show. A wonderful time with great music. The show was evenly paced and so much fun. I would definitely see it again!

I was totally disappointed. For a person who grew up with Freestyle music in his veins, & still loving those songs, I could not believe what I was experiencing. Most of the artists were out of shape, couldn't keep up with the words from their own songs, & sounded miserable. Besides for a few bright spots, such as Crystal Waters, who looked great & gave a great performance, there wasn't much to cheer about. The artists that I looked forward to seeing, such as TKA, Noel, Soave didn't do much justice. Lizzette Melendez & Safire gave it their all & were decent, but still way below my expectations. I think that there should have been some better artists such as George Lamond, Latin Rascals, Fascination, Coro, & The Cover Girls. Maybe, they would have saved the show. All in all, I wanted so much to enjoy the show, but found it difficult to sit through it. Not sure if I would do it again.
Another awesome concert. We had a great time listening to our favorite songs of yesteryear, Freestyle! The only disappointment of the evening was having to wait until the end to see and hear Debbie Gibson. She looked great,as always, but she did more talking then singing plus she only sung 2 songs and then a medley of various artists. We would definitely go again and highly recommend it to anyone who's a fan of Freestyle!
I've been to at least 5 freestyle concerts, this was sloppy, not put together well, some of the singers didn't sing over their backing tracks, I didn't feel the energy I've felt in the past, I won't be going to another freestyle show
I was really looking forward to this concert as I adore the old Freestyle hits of the 80's and the 90's. I must admit that I was a little disappointed overall. The performers seemed to be trying too hard to put on their sets. I know they are a little older, but we were just there to hear them sing their hits; they didn't have to put on a huge performance causing them to lose their breath and barely be able to sing. The well known hits were wonderful to hear performed live. I just wish these performers would remember that the fans are there to hear THEIR HITS- that's what sells the tickets and keeps people coming back.
I truly enjoyed listening to the best music of my lifetime and seeing my favorite artists perform their greatest hits since their debut over 25 years ago. The show was unforgettable and a great memory that will stay with me for years to come!
As usual Taj Mahal keeps Freestyle Generation Alive every year....and I hope they continue bringing our favorite music here even if it's just for one night, we all appreciate it and always have a good time!
Concert was amazing, took me back to my high school years in the early 90's.

Judy Torres was amazing! She was the reason I would say the show was good. Other than that it was ok. The freestyle and old school extravaganza at rAdio city was soooooo much better.

As usual WKTU put on a great and classy Freestyle show. Other Freestyle shows we used to attend (Bald Hill, Mohegan Sun, etc) have rappers and draw a less-than-pleasant crowd. The crowd at the Taj Mahal was dressed well, classy, and appropriate. Glad you still do it so well, WKTU. The only bad part was that Debbie Gibson was involved - omg what a bad idea!! She is nowhere near Freestyle. It was almost embarrassing because people left when she came out; including me. No more rappers, no more non-Freestyle singers PLEASE!!!
I've been to many freestyle concerts. Radio city, Madison square.copa. Also at the taj a few years back. Always enjoyed. This was the worst sounding concert ever. The only person that sounded good was Judy Torres. Soul sonic was also good. The absolute worst part of the concert was Debbie deb and Debbie Gibson. Very disappointed.
Concert was awesome. Loved it! Hoping they will come back to AC again!
