Journey Unauthorized Tickets

The Journey renditions were very good, with one small suggestion. The background music tended to overpower the vocals. If the amps were turned down just a LITTLE during the sound checks and performance, the songs would have been appreciated even more. We were reminded of the movie SPINAL TAP where the bands amps weren't like other bands amps that only went to 10 'cuz their volume controls went to 11. Well, maybe Journey Unauthorized's amps should be turned down to 10----or the vocalist's amp turned to 11.

I thought the band played some great songs. I was surprised to see that the first set was only 45 minutes long and then they took at least a 20 minute break. Wish the concert would have been a little longer.

Since I will never get my wish and have Steve Perry reunited with the Journey band, this was as close as I was going to get. For the money, it was incredible. I was kind of excited to see a tribute band. They were fantastic. All the band members played great and the lead singer looked like Steve Perry from a distance. I would just close my eyes and sing along. It was a little scary how his voice was just like Perry's. The Hangar at the OC Fairgrounds is very cozy, not too small but not too big either. If you don't want to buy tickets and sit, you can just stand outside behind a barricade to watch and listen. It was a very nice night.

I enjoyed the Journey Tribute at the Hanger. I could have done without the camera focusing on the singer's crotch. I also didn't appreciate the band having everyone come up front, this was not festival seating and I bought my second row tickets months in advance. Having drunk middle aged women falling all over my twelve and fourteen year old boys wasn't enjoyable for them, please keep them in their seats!

Loved it- great musicians, great performances! Loved that it gave you a real concert feel where you were excited to touch the lead singer's hand.

This was the first time that I've gone to see a cover band, so I wasn't expecting much. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! They were all in full 80's attire, wigs and all, cheesy but fun- I especially got a kick out of the lead singers inspired Steve Perry outfit, coat tails and all. But what really impressed me was the overall sound and musicianship of this cover band. The lead singer was more than adequate and I'd say above average for singing very difficult Steve Perry songs, who we all know is not an easy feat. As impressive as the singer was, the guitar player really blew me away. He played so perfectly, I actually thought he was faking it for a while. But sure enough it was him and he was great! He plays the way Neil Schon played 25 years ago. Just immaculate. I really enjoyed him doing his thing. Highlights were when they played Oh Sherry, which was totally awesome because you all know we'll never hear that played again unless S. Perry comes out of retirement. They also played some songs sung originally by Greg Rollie(Feeling that way&Anytime) which was also cool as well. Overall, a great show at a great little venue @ oc fair(the Hanger). I will definitley go back to see them next year!

This is the 4th time we have seen this wonderful act and they did not disappoint! My fiance and I had a great time, we also brought along a couple of friends and they loved it.I have seen the original Journey with Steve Perry at the Long beach arena about 25 years ago and these guys come really close. Will see them again whenever I can!

They were amazing! All the musicians were top notch. The lead singer had Steve Perry's moves, looks and voice down! They had the crowd really excited and the female fans for sure. Great show, highly recommend seeing them !

Great concert! Lots of fun. Saw them last year and had to come back. Was not disappointed.

I love how professional this band is and how closely they match Journey of the 1980's. Very enjoyable time!

The show was awesome! The crowd was great! My brother who is 17 was out of his chair singing along with mom and dad! It was a great family bond! :) definitely go to another show of there's !

This band was great. I would see them again for sure. I wish they played more of the popular songs though. In the beginning they played stuff I wasn't familar with. But then here came Faithfully and Oh Sherry which is a Steve Perry... and Don't stop believing towards the end. Would loved to hear Open Arms, wheel in the Sky, I'll be alright without you. But over all had a great time and they sounded really good. We did not sit our seats the we bought. Because the concert was in the hanger it is open. Everyone can see so we sat outside on the benches and were able to go get drinks and dance. I wouldn't buy tickets again I would just show up for the concert and watch from the outside.

Was a fantastic show. the price was right and the sound was good.

Great tribute to one of my favorite bands. Great energy, sounded awesome and the crowed was having a blast.

This band was pretty good - especially as the evening moved on and they warmed up to the very enthusiastic crowd. What overshadowed a great band was their unauthorized 6th band member - the sound guy controlling the sound mix. Don;t know why this person felt that the kick drum deserved to be so over amplified that it it completely drowned out most of the rest of the band - especially for the first few songs - when you could barely hear the vocals or any guitar. I am all for loud rock bands, but I am also for a good balanced sound mix, and that is not what you got at this concert. Stop making every kick of the bass drum sound like thunder and instead aim for good overall sound so all instruments and vocals can be heard.

This was one of the best shows I've seen. Journey Unauthorized is insanely good. THe look the feel of a straight up rock-n-roll show. Loved every minute of it.

Very talented group, but a little too loud for my old ears. Loved the big screen behind the band.
