About

Country bass crooner Josh Turner has one of the most recognizable – and deepest – voices in country music. With his fifth album, 2012’s Punching Bag, Turner added yet another entry to a string of chart-topping albums, achieving one of his biggest hits to date with single “Time Is Love.” As a child, Turner honed his unique voice singing bass in church choir quartets before heading to Nashville to pursue his passion – country music. His platinum-certified 2003 debut Long Black Train was an instant hit, rising to No. 3 on the country charts on the strength of its title track and lead single. Sophomore album Your Man would peak at No. 1 on the Country Albums chart, followed by 2007’s Everything is Fine and 2010’s Haywire, the latter featuring No. 1 hits “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “All Over Me.” Turner is known for putting on one of the most entertaining live concerts in country music, building anticipation among ticket buyers for his upcoming 2014 tour.

    The venue was excellent from the word go... Floor seats were great and I had the best time. It wasn't at all a "big"production, it felt very down to earth and fun. One lady near us did complain about our whistling but I just told her "if it's too loud you're too old. We go to a concert to enjoy ourselves and when the acts are as good as we saw, we let them know!!! #WyomingProud

    this is our 2nd josh turner show. he does not disappoint! i love the gospel break, i love the talent, i love the band, i love the volume, its just a completely great show. the only thing i wish would be some deep cuts. me and my husbands wedding song is 'in my dreams' and its only in my dreams that im going to hear this song live... i wish that werent the case! maybe someday. :) but the talent is flawless!!!

    Great show! Love that the focus of the show was the music and the band, not the theatrics. If you are taking in a show on this tour, leave the grind behind and get ready to sing, dance and laugh. While there check out the merch table great selection with lots of choices!

    Never will I go to Mayo Clinic Event Center in Mankato MN for a concert. 1.5 hour drive 1 way. Parking is ridiculous! No signs to say that ramp is full, that was a nightmare by itself! FINALLY found a place to park. Got to event center and found seats at a hockey game?! They don't pay attention when scanning your ticket or they could have told us that we were on the wrong side of the building! Barely made it in time to our seats on the correct side of the building for the concert. Josh's concert and the company I was with made it worth all the unnecessary hassle, but I definitely with NOT got back to that venue!

    I knew I was going to enjoy the concert, but I had no idea how much I was going to enjoy it in the end! My husband and I went to a concert together, and the whole concert was filled with smiles. Josh was himself - an incredibly talented singer, a charming man and a performer who knew how to interest and entertain the audience. Oh, and the music was just divine. Everything was held at the highest level, for which many thanks to the organizers of the concert.

    Josh really played to the audience. He has an excellent band backing him up. They all had fun and made it fun for us. He told the story of how he sang Two Stepping on the Moon to the NASA space station. He played new songs and closed the concert out with his old standards, Your Man and Why Don't We Just Dance. He's quite a man.

    Josh put on a great show. He was personable and interacted well with the audience. Sound was great! I sat in the balcony where getting out to get beverages is impossible unless you have the entire row stand up for you! Next time will purchase seats by the isle! Wonderful concert!
