About

Country bass crooner Josh Turner has one of the most recognizable – and deepest – voices in country music. With his fifth album, 2012’s Punching Bag, Turner added yet another entry to a string of chart-topping albums, achieving one of his biggest hits to date with single “Time Is Love.” As a child, Turner honed his unique voice singing bass in church choir quartets before heading to Nashville to pursue his passion – country music. His platinum-certified 2003 debut Long Black Train was an instant hit, rising to No. 3 on the country charts on the strength of its title track and lead single. Sophomore album Your Man would peak at No. 1 on the Country Albums chart, followed by 2007’s Everything is Fine and 2010’s Haywire, the latter featuring No. 1 hits “Why Don’t We Just Dance” and “All Over Me.” Turner is known for putting on one of the most entertaining live concerts in country music, building anticipation among ticket buyers for his upcoming 2014 tour.

  • Mixed feelings

Josh Turner’s voice and music continue to impress! His voice is so unique and beautiful, and seeing him age a little is great. Near the end though, it seemed like he and his band buddies were making fun of or making light of women related to the lyrics in the last few songs - “Your Man” and “Would You Go with Me.” The audience was full of mature women who likely were impacted by his music in their 30s and 40s and take the lyrics seriously. I prefer a more sincere and compassionate performance approach. He also pushed his merch too much.

  • 40th anniversary party 6 months 3 concerts and travel

by Preacher on 8/19/25The Edge Pavilion - LaughlinRating: 4 out of 5

for a retired couple and first real concert it was fun and enjoyable. two more to go in the next couple months. they wanted us to use our cell phones for tickets ! well that was fun ! being older and not using our phones for everything make it a bit difficult, the lady at the door was not help at all, but the lady at the helps table was great and walked me through how to find and get to our tickets. all in all it was fun and were looking forward to our next concerts.

  • Absolutely awesome show!

by PrescottBoy on 8/18/25Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerRating: 5 out of 5

The Josh Turner Show at the Chandler Center for the Arts was simply amazing! Josh has a pretty long collection of hits from over the years, and he and the band played them all, but even more they seemed to truly be having fun, and it was contagious for the audience. The only time I can remember not smiling all night was when he played a tribute song to his W.W. II Veteran grandfather, "Unsung Hero,"that left me with a tear in my eye. Josh is a true entertainer to the full extent of the word, and it resulted in an extremely pleasurable night for my wife and I.

  • Great concert

by Blondeunicorns on 8/18/25Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerRating: 5 out of 5

I really enjoyed Josh Turner's concert on the 15th at Chandler Center of the Arts. It was great seeing him in such an intimate venue. The music was a combination of oldies and some of his new album. His opening act was very good too. I kind of wish more concerts were like this.

  • Josh Turner surpassed all my expectations.

by Jeannie on 8/18/25Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerRating: 5 out of 5

Josh Turner made me feel like a young woman again. I was crying happy tears to his songs and dancing in my seat. I've always loved his baritone voice. Him and his extremely talented band played each song superbly. The best concert I've seen in a long time. God bless Josh Turner and his band.

  • It was great

by JJobe on 8/18/25Chandler Center for the Arts - ChandlerRating: 5 out of 5

Josh Turner sounded absolutely fantastic at the concert. His voice was strong, smooth, and just as impressive live as it is on recordings. The atmosphere made it even more enjoyable, with the crowd completely engaged and singing along. Overall, it was a fun, uplifting, and memorable experience worth doing again.

This makes three times we've seen Josh, and he always delivers the best concert. We will go when he comes again.

  • Josh Turner

Amazing performance… thoroughly enjoyed the show! Sounded amazing live.

  • Venue hot and croweded

by BR on 7/7/25Lori's Road House - West ChesterRating: 4 out of 5

Josh Turner and the guys were great. The young lady that opened for Josh seemed to not be enjoying the evening. She seemed down and the songs were not very upbeat for an opening act. The venue was very warm, standing only, and you were afraid to leave and lose your spot to go to the bathroom or get water. The place was packed in and they really could have used some air conditioning to help with the entire experience. I don't think we'll see another bigger name show at Lori's due to this over crowding and temperature.

  • Good Stuff

by RockNChick7 on 7/1/25Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

As expected, he put on a great performance. No craziness, just good music.

  • HOT

by Cheryl on 6/25/25Lori's Road House - West ChesterRating: 3 out of 5

This is not my first Josh Turner concert and I love him every time, but this was my first time seeing him at Lori's road house. I don't know if the ac was broken but it was SO HOT, which took away from the experience.
