Jordan Davis In Concert
Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1988, country singer Jordan Davis has Southern music roots that run deep—not only is his brother also a country singer, but his uncle, Stan Davis, wrote multiple hits for Billboard-topping country singer Tracy Lawrence. It would be putting it mildly to say that Davis grew up around music, but, ironically, he didn't pursue it as a career until after finishing his degree in conservation at Louisiana State University. Moving to Nashville in 2012, Davis would be exposed to a bright, hard-hitting world of singer-songwriters, citing John Prine and Jason Isbell among his favorites. Synthesizing his influences, Davis worked to come up with a smart, R&B-flavored brand of country rock, and he signed with Universal Music Group Nashville in 2016.
Davis' playful, romantic 2017 single "Singles You Up" reached No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Country Airplay chart and No. 4 on the U.S. Country chart, eventually going Platinum. The song also wound up on Spotify's Global Viral 50 chart. Davis' second single, "Take It From Me," a feel-good tune anchored by big, twangy riffs, has also performed well since its 2018 release. A singer-songwriter at his core, Davis filled out his debut studio album, ‘Home State,' with 10 more great songs, cowriting each one with pop rocker Paul DiGiovanni (Boys Like Girls), who also produced the album. ‘Home State' bears a pop-country energy that brings to mind musicians like Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean, and it reached No. 6 on Billboard's U.S. Top Country Albums. In 2017, Davis toured with country rocker Kip Moore's Plead the Fifth Tour. Davis embarked on his first headlining tour, the White Wine and Whiskey Tour, supported by Jillian Jacqueline, in February 2018, which took him to all corners of the U.S.
I loved the venue However considering how many concerts are there. The acoustics are horrible.
The performance was great the venue was very poor. Doors were to open at 7pm but the queues were excessive due to the entry process
Jordan Davis was amazing! The Venus wasn’t good. Sound was bad, couldn’t understand what performers were saying/singing alot of the time. A lot of echo. The venue also seriously over sold tickets. We watched the show from the staircase, and had to peer around a pillar just to get a view otherwise you were staring at the back of someone’s head. You couldn’t even walk without rubbing all over strangers. It smelled like sweat and farts. I missed the first artist and half of the second because they didn’t open the doors early enough to get everyone in before the show started. Some people were just leaving due to the uncomfortableness and the fact they couldn’t hear or see the show anyways. I will for sure go see Jordan Davis again to have a better experience, just not at this venue!
My wife and I had an amazing time. Jordan made us laugh, cry, sing our hearts out! I feel like I didn't pay enough for that show!
I’m assuming the concert would have been great if…. I was allowed to go. The venue is “vaccinated only”. I bought these tickets before the pandemic even hit. The venue then opened to everybody, and then months later changed to vaccinated only. No option of testing. This was even before the unconstitutional mandate. I asked for my money back and they refused. Luckily I went to a surprise concert on Long Island the night before and the headliner turned out to be Jordan davis. So jokes on you NYC. I still got to see Jordan davis without having to be segregated.
Jordan Davis is so underrated! Saw him at the house of blues in Boston and would 100% go again. What a good performance…would highly recommend!
Jordan Davis' night 1 of the Buy Dirt Tour was insanely good!! This was my first Jordan Davis concert, and I had such a good time. :) The opening and middle acts were amazing and were the perfect start to the night. Jordan Davis sang a wide variety of his songs from recent and older albums, finishing with the second to last song being Buy Dirt. I had an absolutely incredible night and would definitely recommend every country listener to go. Would have paid way more than I did for this outstanding experience!!
I have met Jordan twice and he is always so kind, funny and fun! His shows are literally always a blast and I always look forward to them!
First of all the Staff was Fantastic and Friendly. The show was Great such a wonderful venue. The sound was wonderful as well. It was pleasant to listen to and could have been tuned down a little bit but compared to other concerts that are so loud it's not enjoyable.
The Jordan Davis concert was amazing, although I may be a little bias because I’m a big fan of his. His two opening acts were also very good. I left the concert as a fan of two new artist.
Seen Jordan first at Bogart's in Cincinnati and it was a fantastic show. Seeing him again at the drive-in concert in Fort Wayne and without fail it was another perfect performance. Even with covid changing how concerts are he was Fabolous. Can't wait till the next show
LOVE Jordan Davis and LOVE HOB!!! Thanks for a great show!
Excellent Show!!! Jordan Davis is a GREAT entertainer! NEVER disappointed!
Love Jordan - he is genuine and kind, very talented and has a gorgeous voice. The place was packed - and the crowd was enjoyable. Great time!
I will definitely return back, I have seen him twice now at whiskey roadhouse and he is full of energy and really make you have a fun time. I love going to these little concerts cuz you feel like its just you and the performer instead of you and 300+ other people
An amazing artist, and always a great experience at Bogarts!
It was absolutely a WONDERFUL SHOW but the younger crowd were not very RECEPTIVE and pretty rude if i do say so. Not engaged in the GREAT SHOW but on their phones and just not paying attention that he deserved!!! It was sooooo GREAT and he played sooo many of other artists songs & did a fantastic show.
Absolutely Amazing!!! I could've listened to him all night, everyday!!!!
Great show, Loved it!! Packed house and very entertaining. I would definitely go see this show again!
Jordan Davis is one to watch, he's going places. Such a nice guy and talented singer. He was great to see live and sounds just like does on the radio. He also mixed it up and did some other genre's of music as well, which is one of the best parts of a live show. His opening act was Kassi Ashton, she is also very talented and was very enjoyable to watch. The theater at Five Flags was a really nice venue, it's not very big and gives you that up close and personal touch with the artists.
