About

Joji is one of the digital age's most mesmerizing voices. Popular singles like “SLOW DANCING IN THE DARK” (2018), “Run” (2020) and 2022’s Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 hit “Glimpse of Us” exemplify Joji’s blend of alt-R&B with lush pop balladry. Nectar (2020) and SMITHEREENS (2022) led to rave reviews from publications like Billboard, who wrote that “anyone familiar with Joji’s dulcet tones and emotionally revealing lyricism could have predicted that he’d become a solo star.” Jojio (born George Kusunoki Miller in Osaka) built an online audience in the 2010s with viral comedy sketches. Then, in 2017, Joji began releasing music under 88Rising and put out his first album, Ballads 1 (2018). It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and established Joji as a rising star..

    Amazing singer

    by A. P. on 2/10/22

I saw him in a small venue in 2019 or 2020 and he was phenomenal. Best voice of his generation. I’ll see him again every chance I get.

Not as long as other performers

    by A. V. on 1/21/22

I was kind of dissatisfied with his performance, because well I idolized him and well he didn’t sing all his NECTAR album he substituted some songs for some of the album which were pretty amazing tbh, just wished he would’ve lasted longer (only 1hr) oh and he doesn’t sing the last part of slow dancing just an fyi. But I would go see him again just not resale.👍🏻

    Euphoric

    by M. P. on 12/10/21

Joji is honestly one of the best artists I’ve ever listened to. No one can literally compare to him. I would love to shake his hand one day, and showering him with love and compliments. I was at Head in the Clouds, and he knocked my socks off with his angelic voice, and unset ad libs. He is truly one of the greatest artists to ever live. <3

    Great Energy

    by LadyBinicorn on 2/7/20

I saw Joji in Chicago and overall it was an amazing experience. He has great energy and played a lot of songs I wanted to hear. He played his older stuff and his new stuff. It was great. I cannot wait to see him again. I would love to hear him play with a whole band in the future. That's the only thing I wish could have been different. I've enjoyed his evolution of music over the years and everything he puts out is awesome.

    Not enough space

by Anonymous on 8/7/19House of Blues Chicago presented by Cricket Wireless - Chicago

We arrived early to get a good spot but it was hot and I felt faint so I had to leave the pit to buy a drink. We weren’t expecting to get our good spots back but we also weren’t expecting to be stuck in the back the entire concert. The security guards weren’t allowing more people into the main area even though there were a couple yards of space. The people standing in the back were purposely blocking the way so no one could move closer to see the stage. So basically I got to see a small portion of the stage and didn’t enjoy the experience much at all. Joji did a good job but we had to stand 2-3 hours before seeing him and his performance wasn’t long.
