I loved Big Lez especially, never knew how funny she actually was. I want more female comics next year and I will be in the front row. Sheryl Underwood, Zommore, etc etc. Please and thank you! See ya next year...:-)
This was a great show, we will definitely be going back again. One note to the promoters however they started the show late around 8:30 and then I guess one of the comedians went a little over on his skit, so they kind of cut John Witherspoon short, which was the headliner and who we really had came to see. Was kind of bummed but since the other comedians that we didn't know as well did SOOOO awesome, it made up for it.
I loved the show. All of the comedians were fantastic. I just didn't like how they cut John Witherspoon off at the end. Everyone had their allotted time to perform and since he went last they flashed the lights way too much to get him to end it and we missed the punch line of what seemed like it was going to be a hilarious joke. Felt like I didn't get my money's worth... :-(
Love the comedians but hated the venue. For the amount of the tickets, we expected something nicer. Our first time at the JLK Center but we're in no rush to go back.
I think all the comedians were super funny!!! And of course John Witherspoon was the best!!! The only thing is that it seemed that "willie jones" lol (love him) act was cut short bc the event started a lil later and i couldnt see his facial expressions ,which i absolutely love and what makes him even funnier, even though my seats werent that far.. But we had a great time and couldnt stop laughing :) ohh and the host, big worm big perm, was hilarious ❤❤❤
This year's show was great as usual...I believe this is our 4th straight year attending. We'll be back next year!
The overall show was great ....It would have been better if Pops didn't close the show. I feel like his time was cut short as people started to leave.
This was a very funny show and if I get the chance I will definitely go back next year. I forgot how funny Michael Blackson was and John Witherspoon was legendary. All of the acts were great, had me laughing until I cried.
He was so great, Funny, he danced, sang, and told funny jokes! I thought it was going to be boring because he quoted all his beginning work, but after all that he had original jokes that made my ribs hurt!
Witherspoon's opening was probably the best part for me when he referenced lines from his various characters. Not only is he funny but very animated as well.
The show was Fantastic!!! Mr. Witherspoon was so funny and I would definitely go see him again. So please come back!!!

See John in person he was very skillful in captivating the audience with jokes that tickled your insides ! He is very heartfelt in his delivery and would recommend anyone who wants genuine comedy this guy still has his pockets filled with it!! If he is intown it's a must see!

The show was great. John was outstanding!!! The only issue I had was the seating at the venue. It was really too close for comfort.
Mr. Bang Bang had me laughing from the time he enter the show until I walked out the door . He took the time to take pictures with fans for just $20 dollars witch I thought was a deal. I can't wait until he is back in town.
