I thought there was a bit of a disconnect with having the first half Henry Mancini music M.C.'ed by Julie Andrews, and the second half John Williams conducting Star Wars and Indiana Jones music as they are completely different genres. Also, Henry Mancini appeals to an older audience while Star Wars appeals to a younger audience.
I went to see John Williams, and for that half of the show, it was outstanding. When the Star Wars music began, the audience erupted into huge applause, and suddenly thousands of colorful lightsabres began being enthusiastically waved in the air!
When Indiana Jones music was being played, the overhead screens displayed scenes and fast-clips from that series of movies. That really enhanced the whole experience. However, they didn't similarly display any clips while the Star Wars music was being played, and that was a little disappointing. I would recommend that they similarly display Star Wars clips while the Star Wars music is being played.
