One of the best shows that I have seen in years. He is a fantastic performer. Great interaction with the audience.

Man, it gave old school jazz vibes, that relaxing atmosphere. He engaged with the audience, encouraging us to join him in song! ❤️ Loved it, my fav concert ever! Can’t wait to see him again

  • Amazing Talent

by Best Show in Years! on 11/29/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

Johnny interacted with the audience on a very personal level, interacting, listening for reactions and blending in his life stories with an unbelievable talent. Such a powerful, yet, at times soft vocals, his talent was well-matched by his guitar playing, both acoustic and electric, piano -- often acapella. We could have stayed all night, listening to alluring lyrics of triumph, times he/we all overcome sadness. As an unexpected honor, we were able to meet Johnny after the show. I felt as though I knew him!

  • Brilliant

by Neil on 11/29/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

Saw this artist on a Chinese App on the Thursday. Booked tickets immediately for that Saturday's local concert in his hometown area. It was obviously meant to be -we got front row/center seats. John Splithoff gave a fine solo performance. Personal touches for his hometown crowd that included family and friends. It was an event that will be long remembered. That he played his favourite song Raye (our favourite too) on piano was all part of the unexpected and creativity of his vocal and musical instrument performance. We sang along when appropriately prompted but could not in general join the general sing along by his loyal fans. That they knew his songs and words so intimately speaks volumes.

  • Wonderful night

by JJ on 11/28/23Center Theatre at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts - SkokieRating: 5 out of 5

We are from Indianapolis and drove up to Skokie for the night to see the concert. John was awesome and the venue was perfect. The 7 hours on the road was worth it! Johns live rendition of "Raye"was fantastic!

He was absolutely AMAZING! He sounds like he does on his recorded music. He was very open to us fans. Really nice and sweet person! Can't wait to see him again.

  • An absolutely astounding and magical experience.

John Splithoff is a legend. His performance was better than anything I could have imagined. This guy is immensely talented and he’s hilarious. Just a genuine and awesome dude who’s talented and makes beautiful music. He deserves all the respect and success and I hope he continues to grow and make awesome music like all the stuff he’s already released. I’m definitely going to go see him again and you should too if you are reading this and considering going to one of his shows. He engages with the crowd and adds in different things to his live performances that you won’t ever hear in the recordings the same way. He also stayed after to meet his fans and sign merch as well as take pictures. Just an awesome artist overall. I can tell from listening to his music and seeing how he interacted with the audience, how kind and awesome of a person he is. Love you John.

John Splithoff will give you an intimate show with all of his hits and some covers. Loved his personality and versatility on stage. What was even better, he came out to take pictures with the crowd. He truly cares about his fans and is so humble.

  • Incredible!!!

by Kiki on 11/3/22Ophelia's Electric Soapbox - DenverRating: 5 out of 5

John Splithoff is a timeless classic! He's somehow managed to keep a dying style of music relevant in the modern day, and anyone's that heard his music would have to agree. Do yourself the pleasure of seeing him live, as his voice somehow sounds even better in person.

  • Great concert! 👍

by M.Q. on 10/21/22Voodoo Room at the House of Blues San Diego - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Flew in from Vegas just to see him (this was the closest venue). Standing room only was fine, except that the opening act (Jamie) didn't even start until 8pm, an hour late. Thoroughly enjoyed her though. John came out at 8:30 and played almost 2 hrs. My back and feet were aching, but overall it was worth it. He was fantastic. Suggestions for the venue: Was VERY HOT inside, especially after the room filled up. Did not know there was water available as it was not there when we arrived at 6:55pm. I tried contacting House of Blues multiple times over the weeks before the concert to get details NOT on the website and could never get a live person.
