John Mulaney is a three-time Emmy Award, Critics Choice award and WGA award-winning writer, comedian and actor. Most recently, Mulaney can be seen as the host, writer and executive producer of his Netflix talk show EVERYBODY'S LIVE WITH JOHN MULANEY. The show serves as the continuation of the series EVERYBODY'S IN LA. The series features monologues, guests, pre-taped sketches, musical segments and more. EVERYBODY'S IN LA, was a six-night live comedy series that explored Los Angeles during the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in 2024. In December 2024, Mulaney starred in the Broadway play "All In: Comedy About Love," alongside a cast including Fred Armisen, Richard Kind and Renee Elise Goldsberry. Mulaney can next be seen in the Amazon MGM Studios film, MADDEN, an upcoming American biographical sports drama directed by David O. Russell.

Mulaney has appeared in the last two seasons on the beloved FX Emmy award-winning series THE BEAR. BABY J also received the 2024 Critics Choice Award for Best Comedy Special (non-televised). Mulaney was also featured as one of GQ's Men of the Year for 2024.

Mulaney consistently tours and sells out amphitheaters, theaters, arenas and more around the world, from Madison Square Garden to the Hollywood Bowl. His 2023 tour dates included shows across the US, Europe and Australia. Previous tours, which turned into award-winning specials, include the 2018 Emmy-winning Kid Gorgeous, 2015's The Comeback Kid, which The AV Club called the "best hour of his career," and 2012's New In Town, which saw Entertainment Weekly hailing him as "one of the best stand-up comics alive."

Mulaney has hosted Saturday Night Live six times. He was a writer for the show starting in 2008, where he created memorable characters such as 'Stefon' with Bill Hader and worked with hundreds of hosts on their monologues. He has written and appeared in IFC's Documentary Now! and Netflix's Big Mouth, in which he voices the character of Andrew. In December 2019, the critically acclaimed Emmy-nominated musical variety special John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch debuted on Netflix. He also starred on Broadway in the runaway hit Oh, Hello On Broadway, written and performed alongside his long-time friend Nick Kroll. The duo also released a Netflix special of the same name and a hit limited-edition podcast called Oh, Hello: The P'dcast, based on their characters Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland.

  • entertaining but couldnt sustain

The first comedian was weak. Her energy and style was more on the awkward side so by the time Mulaney came on the stage...it wasn't as exciting. He had reused several of his jokes from another show. The flow of his jokes was not smooth. His stories were pretty long to get to the punch line.

  • Mulaney always & forever

by Taytaybobay on 11/10/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

He is my favorite stand up & I specifically planned my trip to Boston (from Nashville) to see him! He performed all new material and his opener, Max Silvestri is now on my "to see again" list.

John Mulaney is absolutely hilarious. I only wish I could have recorded it to watch again and again.

  • John Mulaney - hysterical!

by Shlamey on 11/10/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

He is so funny, and hilarious, especially when interacting with the crowd. I have always loved him, but seeing him live was fantastic.

I bought these tickets knowing John Mulaney only through a Comedy Central special. I don't know exactly how wide an audience he's aiming for, because all his best jokes seem to hit right as my (his) age level. If you weren't a teenager in the 90s you might have much less fun. I got exactly what I wanted and laughed the whole time.

  • Event: Great! Theater: ugh

by Ruddiger on 11/10/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

John Mulaney was very, very funny from start to finish. I am a big fan of his albums and this was all new material and at the same quality. Unfortunately, the theater's terrible seating arrangements made for a physically uncomfortable evening. If you get the chance to see John Mulaney, absolutely do! just not at this venue...

  • Awesome except

by LtDonald on 11/10/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 4 out of 5

So many late people meant the really loud creaky doors kept swinging open, light flooded the mezzanine, and people were chatting loudly about where their seats were.

He is seriously one of the funniest comedians I have ever had the joy of seeing live! The event staff was wonderful and accomodating, and made the night even more enjoyable!

  • super funny and awesome - but not all ages show

by molsonkat on 8/20/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

My husband and I went with a couple from church, since it was advertised "all ages show" - we had a great time, and laughed like crazy most of the show - but I was really surprised at some of the repeat content with sex themes and the "F"bomb dropped. I know the foodbank was a great cause and we're glad we went, but I saw a few parents nearby with children that were thrown for a loop from what they were hearing. I wouldn't suggest advertisting this show as All Ages!

  • Hilarious Hilarious .....

by jgrave on 8/20/13The Pageant - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

This guy is so funny there is going to be no stopping him. Rumors of him taking over as a host of a show should be followed. This guy is going places.
