If you ever get a chance to see the John Corbett Band, you must do so! John himself is just what you would expect if you are a fan of his TV work -- genuine, kind, approachable, sincere, just having fun making music and connecting with fans. He talks about his life in such a humble way and his songs are good too. Most of the fans there were adoring women. Part way through the show he gave one fan a bracelet and promised to come pose for pictures, talk and hang with the fans after the 2 hour 40 minute set (with no breaks!) The band also had some great musicians, and they all had personality, but no one has the charisma and gentle manner of John Corbett as he sings.
I am lucky to go to many concerts,, but was touched bysomething that I have seen no one else do. As he was singing, he would make eye contact with someone in the front of the crowd, sing the lyrics to them for a couple of lines, smile and then do it to another fan.
He seemed to almost be shy at the adoring female crowd, and I don't know why anyone wouldn't have married Aiden. The band doesn't tour too much, it seems, but if and when they appear, it is a special night.
