Amazing performance by JC & BBs! They sounded just as good as they did in the 80’s and they played for almost 3 hours! I went with my college friends and the whole experience was very nostalgic ❤️🙏🏻. Well done.
Great show. John Cafferty and the guys went ALL IN for the show at the Stone Pony. They played nearly 2 1/2 hours. One of their best performances that I have ever saw from them. Hopefully they can keep it going cause they bring the 80’s back and the future is bright and awesome.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. John and his band were fantastic! Toons playing the sax was the highlight for me! The songs brought back wonderful memories. His new album is very good. I prefer the Eddie and the Cruisers soundtrack music. I detected the audience felt that way too due to audience response. I’m so glad I got to see them one more time!
Not sure why we're not using the summer stage on a beautiful hot summer night. The inside was crowded and loud and people on top of each other. Not great. Left early. People are rude to each other when they're trying to save their spots on a crowded floor.
I have followed John and the Beaver Brown Bad since I fell in love with the movie and soundtrack from the movie Eddie and the Cruisers! The show was awesome and a film crew from PBS was on sight as they are making a documtary about the movie and music. I was interviewd and hope to make the cut! Keep on rockin John , looking foreward to the new album!
New & Old Music.Would have liked more of the old hits.
The show was a SELL OUT!!!! We had a great time, JC and the Band never disappoint !!!! They are on the Top of their Game 🎷🎶🎤Love Them ❤️
Seen John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band numerous times and they rocked the place again as usual. The Sax Player, Michael Antunes is so good and amazing. If you have never seen this band and you like all the Eddie and the cruiser songs I recommend highly going to see these guys. They always play for over two hours.
It’s great to see an Artist who still takes pride in his work! Loved the show!!!!
Omg what a concert. Can’t wait to see them again. The band itself is amazing
John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band have been killing it for decades, and this show was no exception. Just an absolutely fun show full of great music. The only reason why I rated it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the description of my seats did NOT include "partially obstructed view"in the description (I had a pole right in the center of my view that made it so I couldn't see half of the band), and the sound technician was clueless. No attempt was made to adjust John Cafferty's microphone volume when he wasn't singing loudly, and screeching feedback occurred multiple times, including after the show when nobody was even on stage! A bad sound tech can ruin a show for everyone, so I don't blame the band. They were fantastic, and I would definitely see them again.
Was real nice to see a musician of his caliber that can still perform was an awesome show would go see him again for sure.
Great set, stull sounds awesome. Can really tell how much they love playing, especially at tge Stone Pony. Cant recommend enough. If they are in town, go see them.
Some things never go out of style. John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown band are one of those things. What a spectacular night in the Stone Pony. Classic Rock in a Legendary Club. John Cafferty once again showed how magnificent raw rock and roll could be and how it created so many superstars. The sound of that saxophone in the Stone Pony wan’t to be forgotten! Great Band!!
John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band always put on an extraordinary show. Their musical legacy and repertoire, which extends far beyond their recorded library, frames a time when there was nothing better than going not the local clubs and seeing the band. Someone once said, you don't stop playing because you get old, you get old when you stop playing. The same is true for the audience. Another memorable night!
This was a excellent show, John's voice is strong! We loved all the songs. Glad to hear a new album is coming. Go see them, I would see them again if I could, and I will if I get the chance!
John, starting his 51st year in the business, was his usual brilliant self! My only regret was that I didn't hear the incomparable "Tunes"; but he's 82 now. His replacement was terrific but.... Thanks John for another fabulous performance!
Was a GREAT show in a GREAT venue with a band I never thought I would get to see live!
This concert brought me back to the good old days , great music never dies . This day was a emotional but uplifting experience, in 2014 on the 20th of May my best friend , my Mom passed away 😢 💔, she got me into the movies Eddie and the Cruisers and after that i was hooked with the music that John Cafferty plays , Thank you .
