Was a GREAT show in a GREAT venue with a band I never thought I would get to see live!
This concert brought me back to the good old days , great music never dies . This day was a emotional but uplifting experience, in 2014 on the 20th of May my best friend , my Mom passed away đ˘ đ, she got me into the movies Eddie and the Cruisers and after that i was hooked with the music that John Cafferty plays , Thank you .
Good concert, however the vocals were overshadowed by the band, which was too loud. There was some feedback issues with the performance.
They played every hit and tons of excellent old and new album cuts, even Van Morrison's Domino. Excellent musicians and amusing entertainers who love thier craft and appreciate their fans.
Couldn't go wife got sick. Couldn't locate a local buyer
John Cafferty and the BB band put on a fantastic show at the Ludlow Garage, playing a good mix of the Cruisers movie songs and their other hits. Great guitarists and keyboards and the tribute to Michael Altoons' 80th birthday was especially memorable, one of the best solos I've ever seen at a concert! What a sax player!
John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band are an unbelievably awesome live band. They played 28 songs for 2 hours and 40 minutes. John's voice sounds fantastic and Tunes playing the sax on almost every song at age 82 is nothing short of amazing. The rest of the band are solid, great musicians! The songs are great and the ballads are beautifully written. I wish more people knew them. JC and BBB put a show that reminded me of Bruce and the E-Street band. They are that good. They should be headlining arenas. I went to Washington D.C. to see them and for this show, to Cincinnati. I live in Cleveland, Ohio. and Yes they were worth every mile and penny it cost to see them. Here's hoping they come to Cleveland, Ohio in 2023!!
Started ontime, played all of the Eddie and The Crusiers hits plus many more. He played for 2 hours and 45 minutes straight with no break. Just pure fun and rock n roll.
Seen John Cafferty at the Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati and it was a terrific experience. Small and personal venue, seating is great, not a bad seat in the house. John Cafferty and the BBB put on an amazing show. Played for 3 straight hours. Even if you didn't know his music, you'd walk out being a new fan. The sax player, Michael Antunes, is 82 years young and plays amazingly. The whole band has so much talent. Old school musicians. No technology needed with this group. I've been to so many concerts and this one hands down has been one of the best. Can't wait to hopefully see them again!
So much energy. Played for almost 3 hours with no intermission. Great concert for great price. I would go again for sure. Venue was small and intimate.
It was so good. I would love to see them again. Normally love this venue however they didnât have a dance floor set up. If you would go to front to dance they would make you sit down. Ok so this is rock and roll. Weird.
Played over 2 hours and 40 minutes. Played songs from all their albums Brought back memories from watching the Cruisers movies. This music is timeless, the Sellersville show was postponed and Penns Peak show provided another opportunity to see this great band. Well worth the 2 hour ride for us to Jim Thrope. Penns Peak always brings great shows to their fabulous venue. Anxious to see them again in Sellersville. If you loved the sound tracks from the Cruisers movies this band and the show will not disappoint.
Non stop 2 hrs and 40 mins all the old songs some new ones to was very entertaining
Wife and I finally saw them at Penns Peak. They played for just under 3 hours and did every song imaginable! Great vocals still and the Band was solid.
Had a little trouble bringing the tickets up on my phone and held up the line a little. Not sure if it was my fault or the sight. I did purchase the tickets over a year ago, not sure if that is why. The lady at the entrance was very pleasant and helped me. Very entertaining show and great service.
My brother and I went to the Stone Pony 30 years ago to see John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. This show was a 30th reunion and it was great. The band still sounds excellent. It was awesome to see John, Gary and Tunes still doing it. They played most of the songs you'd expect to hear and even added some new ones.
Great show, great energy, great venue. Perfect night!
Simply brilliant. Great band, great sound, great location. Loved every moment. The band were outstanding. Need to see them again soon.
It was awesome to see them at the infamous Stone Pony. It was like going back in time to hear their music at this venue. Saw them at Jersey Shore back in 93 and they haven't changed a bit. John Cafferty sounded great as well as the Beaver Brown band. They were well rehearsed. Sax player is original and was awesome. He said he was 79 years old midway through the show when they introduced the band. We were all shocked. Looks phenomenal and what a set of pipes! :)
I had seen this band numerous times in my 20s, Iâm now almost 60. But while my memory isnât great, John Cafferty and the band sounded just as I remembered. They played a long set filled with every 1 of the their hits. For awhile I felt 20 again.
