Oh my goodness, Joe was awsome his music is smooth like butter, how he graced the stage with his presence, music and swagger was truly for the grown and sexy. I would recommend his shows to everyone who loves the true meaning of R&B music.
HE PUT ON A GREAT SHOW. I REALLY DIDNT EXPECT THE TURN OUT TO BE THAT MUCH PEOPLE BUT THERE WAS A LOT OF PEOPLE. I MEAN HES JOE WHAT WAS I THINKING! DEF A FIVE STAR RATING IN MY BOOK.

I was very very disappointed about the length of time that JOE Performed! I waited months for him and thts all I get? Although I love Joe I will neva pay money to see him perform for one hr and 16minutes.

Joe is an amazing singer. Only few artist can sound AMAZING live and joe is one of them. I wish it was a longer show. 1 hour not enough for my Joe fix :)
WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS JOE'S POWERFUL PERFORMANCE !!!! Joe's performance was so great. He's an extremely gifted artist and he puts his all in his craft. He engages his audience and makes each and every lady feel like he's singing directly to her. I can't wait to see him perform again and I'm looking forward to his new album. This was my 10th time attending his show. I Love you Joe and may you continue to bless the world with your gift. From your number #1 fan.
He was ontime, and performed for exactly an hour. He was very entertaining and cute as a button! I hated the venue! Will not go to Howard Theater again. This did not need to be a "standing room only" event.
This is my third time seeing Joe and while he ALWAYS looks and sounds great, I was a tad bit concerned of the length of time of this show. We only got about an hour and 12 minutes from him. I realize that his album is schedule to be released on Tuesday so I figured that this may have just been a promotional tour but I would have liked at least an hour and a half to two hours from him. He took up a few minutes to show his versatility by giving us a Jamaican song and Brazilian song which I appreciate because in my eyes Joe can do no wrong; it would have been nice for him to use those minutes to either give us more of a taste of the new album or in fact give us a little more of his classics. Overall, I enjoyed myself as always.
I went with a friend of mine and we were both highly impressed with Joe's performance. The most impressive thing was his interaction with the crowd and his willingness to accept request. He was very engaging along with a superb stage presence. Bravo !!
I absolutely LOVED the show. Joe is an AMAZING Artist. I hated the standing room only because I don't dress up for grown folks music to stand up with a crowd. The show could have also been longer. He even returned to stage to give the crowd a little "More and More" no pun intended :o)!!!
Joe did an incredible show at the Howard theater. I would definitely recommend to everyone to go seei him perform live.
I thought that Joe had a great performance. However, I was disappointed at how short his concert was. He made mention that he had a 9:30 curfew. The show started at 8pm with no opening act. The show lasting an hour did not match the price we paid for the tickets. If the show needed to be done at 9:30 it should have started before 8pm. His collection of work was worth more than the hour he had on stage.
While I was elated that the show started on time, I was extremely disappointed that at 8:55 he began saying his farewells and announcing his album release date. He came back on stage for an additional 15 mins, only to sing a couple cords from audience request. His voice was impeccable as always, but I don't feel we received our money's worth for the time period.
The venue was optimal for a close intimate vibe. Joe performed many of his hits/singles and even some cultural material. I have followed his career for over a decade. I've seen him perform before but this was Joe at his finest!
Joe was GREAT except he didn't sing my song My Love & he had a curfew. He had to end by 9:30pm. After waiting in line for over two hours & only seeing him perform for 1 hour & 15mins didn't equal out for me. I feel I was short changed.
He was a sight to see! Great stage and audience interaction. He's amazing!!!!!!!!
Man oh man Joe shut BB Kings down! His voice is still amazing and his band was awesome. He has so many hits and it was great to hear them live. This is my second time seeing him and I will see him again many times over. He is so smooth and cool on stage and just a pleasure to watch. If you like to hear good music and real singing then this is the show for you. After 20 years in the game he still has it!
Joe did a great performance. I would definitely go to see him again, JUST NOT AT BB KINGS Standing room only, it would have been better if I could have a seat and a cold beverage because it was super hot and uncomfortable Fortunately Joe was superb
