JRAD is the best live concert experience!

by SkippysLimo on 7/23/18Blue Hills Bank Pavilion - Boston

JRAD is fresh Dead. First Dead show was Woodstock 69. Seen hundreds of GD, Phil, Ratdog, Other Ones, DSO shows. JRAD loves what they are doing and gives everything! Thank you so much!!

JRAD brought so much energy to the show!! It was like an early 1980's Grateful Dead Show!

    JRAD in BOS

by Phinneaus on 7/23/18Blue Hills Bank Pavilion - Boston

So grateful to see JRAD for the first time. Couldn’t download my tickets at venue but the help was helpful! Printed my tickets and we walked right in. Great venue with no bad seats. Awesome people who shared the love. Friendly staff who remembered my face. And the band!!!! And the lights!!!! And the music!!!! My 15 year old daughter was wiped out after travel but as she “rested” during second set she said,”I was able to interact with the music, instead of the music interacting with me.” I’m a JRAD fan now.

    JRAD pulling all stops

by VonDude on 7/23/18Blue Hills Bank Pavilion - Boston

Joe Russo's band is pushing the music of the Grateful Dead to another level, still respecting what made it so endearing to us.

JRAD at the Palace Theater Albany NY

by ajoshuae on 3/25/18The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

JRAD had A list players and was better than other Dead cover bands. Obviously Russo and Benevento have experience playing together as Duo and the rest of the group was super tight. Frankly, it was better than the Phil Lesh Birthday run at the Capitol Theater. See them if you can.

Great show, very slow getting in worth it though

by StevenAfromMaine on 3/20/18State Theatre - Portland

Been to the State many times, never seen it this slow to get in. Security is a great thing. I just think for a few more hundred bucks they could have hired a few extra people to do pat downs. I felt bad for the guys that were there. They seemed frustrated and overworked. Great show though totally worth the weight. JRAD was aswome, can't wait to see them again.

    Joe Russo's Almost Dead!

by Techyeah on 3/19/18The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

First time here and will definitely be back. Gorgeous venue, great sightlines, excellent sound, reasonable price drinks, short line for restrooms and beverages, and JRAD killed it as usual!!!

Rockin show. Great songs. Long jams.

by CurtisJ1 on 3/19/18The Palace Theatre Albany - Albany

Great idea having floor be general admission. I was rewarded with 10th row center for being there early. Good set list and lots of jamming. Could've done with more songs and slightly less jamming but all in all an enjoyable show.

    Awesome setlist!

    by Scott147 on 3/18/18Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

I could not have asked for a better show. The music flowed seamlessly. The band teased their way through the transitions and left us all smiling.

JRAD @ Landmark Theater - Albany NY

by jonesthewine on 3/18/18Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

Visually rich and stunning venue with some of the worst acoustics that I've encountered. JRAD put on a tour-de-force show per usual.

    Way oversold

by Anonymous on 2/20/18The Pageant - St Louis

The music was good, however it was way oversold. There was no access to the floor if you left to go to the bathroom, etc as it was too full and you were not allowed back to join friends, etc that you started the show with. There was very little space to find outside of the floor as there were too many people at this show. It took away from the music greatly when you are smelling the hair of the person in front and the person behind is packed into your backside.

    JRAD at the Pageant

by GratefulDoug on 2/19/18The Pageant - St Louis

Possibly the worst sound I've heard at the Pageant for a pro band charging close to 50 per ticket after fees. Never could hear the left side guitar player clearly, no matter where I stood. Not sure if it's the band's or the venue's fault. The music itself was worthy, although the last time I pay that much to see them there. They sounded like a different band at Red Rocks last summer.

    Meh

by catscatscats on 2/19/18The Pageant - St Louis

In the band's defense I was still battling a cold and just not feeling the entire evening. The venue was extremely oversold so it was absolutely packed which is miserable if you don't have a table. One could not even find a comfortable place to stand and it required an excruciatingly long wait just to get water and soda and it was impossible to even get to a bathroom without having to elbow your way there. Band was talented but they like to go off on tangents every other song, which not even the Dead could always get away with. JRAD ended up playing far fewer songs simply because they stretched so many of their songs into boring psychedelic tangents. Tickets were unreasonably expensive for what this band is. There are other Dead cover bands that are far more fun and cheaper too.

Great representation of the Dead but with their own twist on jams. Would definitely go see them again
