Joe is hilarious, I got to pet his dog

by Gare-bear on 2/8/23Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Joe Pera put on a fantastic show. The man is hilarious and was a real pleasure to take in. He managed to wrangle some drunks in the crowd that wouldn't shut up by bringing out his opener and just going free-for-all. It felt like he naturally let his walls down and opened up a bit on stage. It was really great to see, even if the crowd was a bit obnoxious. The floor seating was tight, like sardine can tight. Like sharing body heat and breathing someone else's exhale tight. We had a great spot in the middle of the pit but upgraded to a premium table before the show. We had a much more comfortable venue experience.

Amazing performance - Non-existent Audience Control by Staff

by Ajones on 2/8/23Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Joe Pera was amazing. Unfortunately, he faced constant interruptions by inconsiderate audience members who apparently deemed themselves comedians. Interruptions were constant, and despite being well-staffed with security and event staff, the few audience members who repeatedly interrupted the performance were neither spoken to or removed from the venue. Chairs were uncomfortable, fastened together in rows with minimal room for movement, and the room felt stifling at times, despite it being mid-February. I would not recommend attending a comedy performance at this venue.

    Too short!

by Matty on 2/6/23Uptown Theater - Kansas City

First let me say that I love Joe Pera...and I loved every minute Joe was on stage. Thing is, he was barely on stage. $155 for 3 tickets and the entire show was just about 1 hour long...and that included his opener Dan Licata. Joe Pera didn't talk to us for very long at all and spent most of his 30-40 minutes on stage having the audience talk to him or bantering with Dan Licata uncomfortably sounding like he ran out of things to say. I sincerely love Joe Pera, but feel as though I was cheated out of, what should have been, an epic show.

    The Midwest’s Best!

by Kowalick on 9/20/22The Regent Theater - Los Angeles

Really enjoyed the early Saturday show. So many laughs, and all before 9pm (my bedtime). Dan Licata is a madman and hilarious. Joe is an original and all around laugh maker! I wish I could follow this show like they were The Grateful Dead.

    Our Neurodivergent King

by Callie on 9/17/22The Observatory North Park - San Diego

This was a really fantastic experience. The opener had a very classic comedy style, slight crass and outrageous, which served as a fantastic contrast to Joe’s style. If you’re a fan of his HBO show you will absolutely love his comedy. It was one of the most enjoyable nights I’ve had in a while, thank you so much!

Perhaps the best comedy show I’ve been to.

by Lorenzo on 9/13/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

I should preface this by saying that I am a massive fan of Joe Petra’s tv show, and his stand up style is identical to his scripted persona; indeed some of the jokes felt like they were monologues lifted from the show. That being said, oh my word what an immense pleasure. I was smiling from the moment he came on stage and I was constantly laughing. If you are a fan of his show then run to see him live. Also Connor O’Malley killed it as an opening act. I wasn’t aware he was going to be there and that was a surprise and a delight.

    Joe Pera is amazing

by George on 9/12/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

His soft-spoken, gentle way of speaking is unlike any other stand up I’ve seen. His show introduced me to him. He navigates the world is like a man who has never lost his innocence and sees the hood in even the worst of people, usually for comedic effect, and his friends and openers are great examples of this. I would recommend his show to anybody.

    Splendid

by Silky Pillows on 9/12/22Neptune Theatre - Seattle

Joe Pera was everything and more than I wanted. His two opening acts were funny, but we all know who we were there to see, and boy did he deliver! I thank the rust belt for producing such a fine, upstanding citizen!

    Joe is great

by katherine on 7/19/229:30 CLUB - Washington

I got completely soaked in a sudden monsoon-level downpour on my walk to the venue and had to spend five minutes wringing rainwater out of my dress and the rest of my clothes before the show started. Despite my best efforts I remained very damp, which, combined with the air conditioning, meant I was gently freezing to death for the duration of the evening. In spite of this I still had a wonderful time, which is a testament to the quality of the entertainment provided. I'm not even mad at the weather. Sometimes it's good to get a little waterlogged. Might as well have a chuckle while you're getting flash-frozen afterward.

Lots of laughs at Joe Pera et al

by LeeBr on 8/14/18Duck Room at Blueberry Hill - St Louis

Haven't laughed this much in a long time! Jo Firestone, Joe Pera, Dan Licata, and Connor O'Malley were very entertaining. Being in the older crowd, I thought I wasn't going to get their humor, but they were very funny!

We came early for the food, it was priced great and very tasty. The memorabilia was fascinating. The duck room was very iconic. Such a great place to see comedy. I loved Joe Pera and Jo Firestone. Definitely worth the trip.
