Really enjoyed concert - best perfromance that I have attended at the Fraze in years. Joe Cocker sang all his popular hits, and delivered better than expected.
Band was great - crisp clear - together and Joe's vocals were strong
Joe Cocker sounded exactly the way he does on all of his live albumns. The group he had backing him was pretty good although I would only give the Hammond Organ player a grade of 'C'. The piano player would get an 'A' as would the guitar player and the drummer. The bass player, a female, although unique, didn't seem to stand out much with her performance. Perhaps, that is a good thing, but there was nothing exciting about her performance. Now, back to Joe Cocker - his performance was extremely "Top Shelf". He didn't miss a beat or note. Listening to him sing "Little Help From My Friends" was almost like hearing his Woodstock performance. Wrapping up the show with an old one from CCR - "Long As I Can See The Light", one of my favorites - turns out that Joe does it much better than John Fogerty; and that is very much an under-statement. He brought down the house. (I can't add a setlist as I didn't keep notes)
Joe Cocker gave an unforgetable concert, played all of his well known hits
What a great show. My wife and I rocked the entire night long. What a voice, style, ability to take us back in time to the wounderful years of the 70's. I would invite everyone to buy a ticket to see Joe and his band. Money well spent.
Great venue! Joe Cocker was even better than I expected, sang all of the favorites with the same gritty stylized performance that we fell in love with. All of the musicians with him were top notch, overall an exceptional experience-Must see event!
the weather was great. joe cocker was great. he put on a 2 hour show with a great band and back-up singers.the croud was on their feet for much of the time. he is a better singer now than back in the old days
great concert Joe has not lost anything and still is an amazing singer. would go see again and again
Joe is singing as good as ever. When many artists his age are starting to lose their edge, Joe just keeps on gooing. His band is equally fabulous. I highly recommend this show.
What a great show. Joe was terrific, sang all nof our favorites, backed up by a great band and back-up singers. You still got it Joe, keep rocking!!! Kelly Ritchie was the opening act and she can definitely sing the blues. She was a great singer and guitar player. Would definitely recommend this show to everyone. Fraze Pavilion is a great place to see a show, very fan friendly staff, all the seats are good and acoustics were amazing.
Joe Cocker rocked. The show was a solid 90 minutes of entertainment. The band was tight and sounded great. The backup vocalists were on point as well. There was very little banter with the crowd as Joe rolled into one song after another.
I can remember listening to Joe Cocker, Mad Dogs and Englishman as a 33 RPM vinyl on my daddy's stereo in the 70's and joe Cocker's sound has not changed one bit in my opinion!!! He is and always will be an amazing performer!!!!!! A legend!!!!! A definite must see!!!!!
Superb show. Joe Cocker stills has tremendous energy and puts his heart and soul in every song he sings. He brings first class musicians with him. Recommend seeing him before he retires from the concert circuit.
It was a wonderful evening listening to Joe Cocker, who is every bit as good as he ever was. The weather was perfect and the venue was too. He came back for two encores and the crowd would have stayed all night.
We saw the Joe Cocker show last night, at Fraze pavilion. The weather, the seats and the crowd all lent themselves to a fantastic show. I have seen Joe 5 times over the last 30+ years and he still has the energy and showmanship that he had at the first show that I saw. The band was tight and the sound was wonderful. Even at his age, Joe's voice is still incredible. He had the audience singing and dancing on the rockers and still as a church on the love songs. This was my wifes first time seeing him and she hasn't stopped talking about it yet. We will keep attending as long as Joe keeps going!! Truly, a fantastic show!!!!!
We went with average expectations which, in the end, made the concert even more spectacular. From the minute "Joe" walked on stage until he left, the songs were none stop. His timing and syncopation are still as good as ever. Although he "struggled" once or twice with his falsetto, he got it off of the ground and his band was behind him to pick up the note and it transitioned very smoothly. I personally would like to give him 4.9, but that's not an option. I would pay to see the same show again.
This was an excellent show. I can't believe the people around me wanted to sit down so much. He can still rock and I will gladly see him again in the future.
Wow... a first time Fraze viistor.....We were thrilled! Joe was awesome! The Fraze is a great place to see anyone, parking great, all seats were without a doubt good for viewing & all staff was friendly. We will go back for a repeat visit, even if Joe isn't there!
Me and my husband are a products of the 60's music era. We have always loved Joe Cocker and have all of his CD's and a DVD of the original Mad Dog and Englishman. Last night concert at the Fraze Pavilion for us was unforgettable. Joe's soul reaching music was in fine form and even better than his first tour back in the 60's. We enjoyed every moment. My husband favorite was "You can leave your hat on" for obvious reasons, but my fav will always be "She came through the bathroom window". Both of our favorites were "Cry me a river", and "With a little help from my friends". I have waited nearly forty years to catch Joe in a near-by concert and it was worth every minute of the wait to see him last night. We also enjoyed Joe's rendition of the Beatle songs. We played one of his CD's on the way to the concert and his heart and soul on the way home. My husband and I were also blown away by the wonderful venue and facilities of the Fraze Pavilion. It was our first visit and is was wonderful. The whole setting of feeling like you were in a lush park, the easy access of parking and leaving, the food access (of which we bought the box dinner, (Turkey wrap and fixings) and the easy access to restroom facilities made it an unforgettable evening for both of us. All you baby boomers out there don't miss anything that is presented at the Fraze Pavilion, in Kettering Ohio.
The show was unforgetable i enjoyed the venue loved it
