About

Known as the sexy bad boys of the R&B scene, Jodeci is made up of Jo-Jo Hailey, Donald “DeVante Swing” DeGrate and Cedric “K-Ci” Hailey, with Dalvin DeGrate joining at a later date. No strangers to success, Jodeci’s smooth sounds have been topping the charts since the early 90s, when they released Forever My Lady. The album featured the gold single, “Come and Talk to Me,” and sold over three million copies. They belt out powerful ballads and jazzy love songs with seductive beats that concertgoers can’t help but sway along to at their live shows. Their tours have been selling out across the country since the early 90s, and the band continues to shine during their reunions. They radiate energy and wrap the audience in their smooth, soulful sounds.

The foursome are natives of North Carolina, and their music is heavily influenced by their experience singing gospel music as youngsters. Rapper Heavy D was instrumental in the band’s success, convincing Uptown president Andre Harrell into signing them after hearing their demo. It’s hard to miss the enormous talent evident in each of their three records, but "Forever My Lady" was definitely their initial ticket to success. On the band’s third album The Show, the After-Party, the Hotel they were able to work with R&B legend Al Green on the song “Could This Be the Love.” Jodeci's sound is admired in many different musical circuits, from R&B to soul to gospel to easy listening, and their fans applaud their musical prowess and ability to pump so much sexy magic into each of their songs.

Jodeci was Great! The atmosphere at the House of Blues located inside of Mandalay Bay was welcoming. They performed their classic style of music including new songs. Overall this is a must see concert when visiting Las Vegas.

    They did a Lauren Hill

by KL on 3/24/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

JoJo didn't perform, because they said he was "sick". The concert was scheduled to start at 7:30, but the doors didn't open until 8 pm. Jodeci then appeared on stage until a little after 9... no opening performers. They didn't sing any of their songs in its entirety. I think they may have made last-minute adjustments due to JoJo backing out. I loooooooove Jodeci... spent a ton of money for this concert.... highly disappointed. It was Meh for me. But KC can SINGGGGGGGđŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„đŸ”„

    Definitely not worth the price.

    by Beyoncestwin on 3/24/24

Surprisingly GA is better. You can actually see. Just wear some sneakers. You’re basically paying extra to sit down. We paid $250 each and could only see 2/3 members. Yes I didn’t say 2/4 because JoJo was sick and didn’t come. I say they should have refunded us 25% for his absence. They should have had at least a guest performer to make up for it. I’ve been to several concerts and this one was just not good. They kept having their back to the audience, talking in between songs WAY too much. The band was great but it the show was just subpar. My family flew in just for this show and they sure were disappointed. Also, show time was listed at 7:30. The DJ played good music but we were just dancing in our seat to pass the time. I’m sure GA was probably having a mini dance party but we couldn’t see. They didn’t come on until 9:00. The show was over at 10:30. I couldn’t believe when I looked online and saw future shows going for $600 a ticket. Seriously. With an obstructed view. I would only pay $45 max for this. But nice to see them perform. They need to improve the show big time if they want to charge $600.

They should call it the k ci show

    by LC on 3/24/24

I paid good money to see Jojo and he was not there. K ci did amazing as expected but is Jojo that sick to where he couldn't even come out and stand there like Devante does? Why is it being promoted as a 4 man show if that's the case? Also they need to perform some other songs than the usual most popular ones. K ci please sing "I don't wanna do anything else"sometime soon. Please for the love of God. Other than that they did okay.

One of the best shows I've ever seen

by BroMontana710 on 3/23/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

From the theatrical element to the smooth sounds, this concert was a hit! The addition of the live band made it even more special. 33 years later and these guys still have it.

by Kram on 3/23/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

JoJo was not there to make the fourth . KC held it down though, overall great show. Sang all the hits you wanted to hear. Did not go into Diary Of A Mad Band, Sweaty. If in Vegas definitely check them out.

    Amazing

by Sonya B. on 3/20/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The House of Blues venue was perfect for the show. It gave intimacy for the concert. Every section of the room had clear views of the stage. It made you feel like they were singing directly to you. Jodeci still has IT! Would see the show again as they were just THAT GOOD!

Jodeci Residency House Of Blues Las Vegas

by JimNClaudia on 3/19/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

The Jodeci concert was great. My wife and I really enjoyed the show. We started dating in the mid-90s when we started listening to them. It was a treat to hear that they were going to start a residency in Vegas. We jumped on the tickets as soon as they were on sale. JoJo wasn't there during our show. We hope he gets better. Their voices are still good compared to other older groups we've seen in the past. The House of Blues was a perfect venue.

    Needs a lot of work

by Ss on 3/19/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This residency needs a lot of work. In fact the show on the 16th should have been cancelled. Jojo did not perform due to illness, and the rest of the group decided to perform. They did not have a set list ready to go, pretty much just winged it. The audio was too loud so you could not enjoy the songs that did sound good. Was not worth the price of the ticket. If I could get a refund I would.

    Don't think twice...YOU better go!

by Michelle on 3/19/24House of Blues Las Vegas - Las Vegas

I'm a big JODECI fan. I was excited to hear that they were going to be in VEGAS. The show was great all songs were song. Jojo was missed because he fell sick. KiCi did great singing his part. Mr.Dalvin, Devante and KiCi looked GOOD and sounded great. Take a quick weekend getaway and enjoy yourself.
