About

RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon (she/her/they/them) is the "internationally tolerated" cabaret icon who's taken over the entertainment industry as an award-winning actress, acclaimed vocalist, and theatre sensation. She's now competing on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 7 amongst a cast of all winning contestants.

Since gaining a massive international fan base, Jinkx has toured the world performing her original cabaret shows with music partner Major Scales, including highly-acclaimed shows like The Ginger Snapped, The Vaudevillians (which became a hit off-broadway sensation) and their most recent production, Together Again, Again (2022). In 2018, she partnered with best friend and fellow RuPaul's Drag Race star, BenDeLaCreme for their first major holiday tour To Jesus, Thanks for Everything! - Jinkx and DeLa. Jinkx and DeLa's co-written holiday productions have grown into a worldwide phenomenon, spawning the 2019 tour, All I Want for Christmas is Attention, a Hulu holiday hit, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (2020), and The Return of the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE! (2021) which performed for sold-out audiences at venues like the Fillmore (Philadelphia) all across the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

She is an award-winning stage actress, having won the Gregory Award for her portrayal of Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and most recently, The MAC Award for her show The Ginger Snapped, co-written with Major Scales. No stranger to film and TV, Jinkx has appeared on the CBS cop drama Blue Bloods, the Netflix original AJ and the Queen, and has voiced characters for such animated shows as Steven Universe, Mighty Magiswords, Bravest Warriors, as well as a few surprises that are yet to come! Jinkx has been the subject of two documentaries: Drag Becomes Him, and The Queens.

Jinkx is gearing up for the release of her new EP out later this summer, and has dropped the lead single for the project, "Know-It-All" written by Major Scales.

  • Unexpected

by Ori on 6/28/23National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

The show was fab. Jinkx had a lot of comedy, singing and a beautiful thread of realism about her. She was discussing her past demons. I'd highly recommend the show.

  • Good, but a bit meh

by Jinx fan on 6/28/23National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

I expected there to be a lot of singing in her show and loved that. But it was missing the drag flair we come to love from drag performers. The band drowned her out a bit, Major Keys was an annoying and weak weak character, there was no really funny skits either. The show was still good to go see, but next time, if I go again to see her, I will definitely not spring for the expensive seats again. So as the title said, it is a good show, she really is talented, but it left me feeling kind of meh.

Burton theatre needs fans or better A/C for the events.

  • Hilarious and Talented

A smooth flowing show from start to finish and yet still personal. A good balance of music and comedy! They are such an amazing singer and having the band really upped the ante.

  • So good

I’m glad I got to see Jinkx before she becomes an EGOT winner. The production of this show was excellent and so, so funny and heartwarming. The band was also excellent, very capable of several musical styles that all seemed to blend perfectly

Super fun entertaining show. Could have used more comedy but in all it was great!

  • The Lady Is A Champ!!

by Phil on 6/19/23Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

From cabaret style, to Broadway to a little funk 'n' roll, with a magnanimous amount of good humor thrown in, we were treated to a fantastically entertaining and heart-warming show. Our Jinkx proved once again why she is our beloved two-time Drag Race champ and even more important, our beloved star. Lots and lots of energy, a great supporting team on and off stage and even a cameo by DeLa spiced up a varied and captivating evening. I will see Jinkxy whenever she comes to Calgary again (hopefully at Xmas). She is an inspiration to all of us and one of the main examples why the current backlash against drag and trans people is SO WRONG. She is sweet, sincere, extremely talented and opinionated (in a good way), not to mention beautiful. Thank you for one of the very best evenings of entertainment that I have witnessed.

  • Amazing show - technical issues

by AuroreL on 6/16/23Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 4 out of 5

I'm living for Jinkx Monsoon! Amazing performer with an incredible voice! The show is highly recommanded. Although, we couldn't enjoy it as much as we would have hoped because of the poor quality of the sound. The instruments were so much louder than Jinkx's voice that she had to scream so we could hear. It made us miss a lot of the lyrics of her songs. But we have enjoyed the parts without music, wish we had more jokes and funny stories.

  • Great show!

by Katya on 12/3/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time watching the two exceptional talents live on stage! 10/10, will definitely go next year too, would be great to make it a holiday tradition

  • Good show but venue could do better

by Geohealer on 12/3/22The Fillmore Philadelphia - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

The show was fantastic. I might be tad biased as it was the first show of this kind I have been to. I thought they were hilarious, direction was amazing. My only issues were the seating at the venue. It was the general floor seating, but it was THIS general (folding chairs). Other than that the bar was great and they had some pretty good food too.

  • AMAZING

Absolutely loved everything about the show. The high energy all night was lovely, & I enjoyed the endless amounts of laughs. It was truly a beautiful show, with all the majestic lights and sounds. Jinkx Monsoon was a pleasure to meet as well! Such a sweet, kind soul who took high interest with chatting to all the VIPS! Wouldn’t trade this experience for anything else, cannot wait to go to another one of her shows!

  • Spectacular Show

Jinkx and Dela blew the roof off the place with their humor and singing. Dancing baby Jesus was a scene stealer. Such a special night. Lovely theater with lots of bars

The opening comics were really but Jinkx dominated the show with her great stand up. It was a pleasure watching her handle hecklers.

Can I give a million stars? That’s how many Jinkx Monsoon deserves. I laughed for two straight hours. I met her after the show. She was absolutely fabulous. Such a gem. 1,000,000,000/10. If you get a chance to see her ever—do it!!!

  • Amazing Show!

by Levi on 10/6/22Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Jinkx is an amazing performer and I have seen her perform live singing and with her variety shows like the Vaudvillians, but The comedy show was one of my favorites. She was hilarious!!!

  • Couldn't stop laughing!

by Lon on 10/5/22Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Jinx has this conversational style that puts her audience at ease, but she delivers hilarious lines with such deadpan style that you forget this is a comedy show...you feel like your best friend is telling the story. I couldn't get enough of her!

  • Laughs all night

by Οsweed on 10/5/22Punch Line Comedy Club - Sacramento - SacramentoRating: 5 out of 5

Such a talented, humble and beautiful human. She is on from the moment she walks out from backstage. Her comedic timing is impecable and her humor can only be compared to the greatest such as Bianca Del Río. I had the pleasure to do the meet and greet, and she is attentive, personable and humble. Definitely recommend that you experience the presence of the one and only Jinkx
