  • Incredibly funny

Jimmy Carr is an incredible performer! Its a must see for sure!

  • Double-booked seats

by LWind on 11/5/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 4 out of 5

While the show started late, the venue workers were efficient on getting everyone in. Then we discovered our seats were double booked. Since we were second to get there, the venue told us to take any free seats. Sadly we ended up in some less than desirable seats. Still enjoyed the show, but annoyed at having to move after buying our tickets through Ticketmaster.

  • I had a wonderful time at his show.

    by D-Man on 11/4/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I had a wonderful time. My cousin went to the next night show in Providence and was so fortunate to meet him at the Chinese restaurant before the show. Jimmy was so very nice that he took a picture with him. Now that was so generous and kind of Jimmy!!! My cousin will never forget that experience for the rest of his life.

  • Hilarious!

by Nicole on 11/4/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Jimmy Carr was HILARIOUS - such a variety of jokes with some serious commentary that ended in jokes it was all so genuinely hilarious. It takes me a lot to laugh out loud - and I was laughing the whole show. Glad to have seen him online enough to want to see him in person. I can't wait to see him again!

  • Absolutely blown away by how funny he is, loved the show.

by Dynodan on 11/4/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

We saw both the early and late shows. Both were fantastic. His crowd work kicked into gear to differentiate the two performances. Don't miss this guy, brilliantly funny.

  • Hilariously Good.

by Joe Gondolin on 11/4/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

He’s a hilarious comedian. He takes questions and jokes from the audience. Some of the people in the audience got weird and upset. But he handled it with class. And it never rattled him or anybody. Definitely would see him again.

  • A fantastic Saturday night out

by John on 11/4/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

Jimmy was wonderful! Funny, rude, entertaining, sharp, and unshakeable! Minted too, by all accounts! If you haven't seen him, go and see him! If you have seen him, go again! Cheers

  • Great Show

by Beznst on 11/4/25State Theatre - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

He was quick and hysterical, and loved putting people in their place when they shared their personal opinions a little too much. Thanks for a great show.

  • Great Fun!

What a relief to listen to some good old fashioned comedy where the comic isn't afraid of what people think. Jimmy Carr isn't for everyone and certainly isn't politically correct and that's what makes for the draw. He's just saying what we all think and says the difficult part out loud and doesn't care about the fall out. And, the delivery is in such a way as to make it almost easy to hear. His interactions with the audience span the spectrum of positively caring and supportive to outright offensive and that's just what we wanted to experience. He's unafraid of any subject and can take you from busting a gut to offering sincere advise to someone reaching out and his messaging - often hidden by the brash humor - is on point and fitting to the situation. Seemingly to be a truly caring person below that stinging whit. The venue - Maine State Theater - is a classic old school theater that yeah, could maybe use a face lift and few coats of paint but it is a classic with great views and most importantly comfortable seating. The staff was great and the location was easy to get to. Not a lot of parking options adjacent to the theater but if you can walk comfortably for a half mile or so with uphill grades then there is good parking to be found. I would definitely see other events here.

  • Laugh Funny

by Miss LEA on 10/22/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

I really thought his opening warm up was unique and hilarious. Reading what was on the big monitor I could imagine his voice behind the words and the whole place was laughing at what was written. It definitely warmed us all to the comedy we were waiting to see. We were getting a bit antsy before this because is was getting on to him being a half hour late! I told my son "he's very fashionably late!" By the time he came out we all laughed through the show. I did notice Jimmy standing mostly stage right though. He didn't really go beyond the center stage. I wished he had because I had a large gentleman with a big head in front of me and hardly saw Jimmy on stage, having to watch the monitor. Thank goodness for them! The heckling was perfect, his comebacks spot on, and his wisdom when needed was appreciated. All in all it was worth every cent and yeah I would do it all again. It was my first big name comedian show and not my last. A memory I won't soon forget.

  • Laughed so hard...

by Opus on 10/21/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

We laughed so hard, our sides ached. Jimmy Carr was honest, sincere and just hilarious. His act was intelligent and reasonable. He also did his usual of letting the crowd ask questions and heckle him. No opening act, because he was on stage for approximately two hours. Great night of entertainment!

  • Jimmy is one of the GOATs

by Scooter on 10/20/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

This is our second time seeing Jimmy Carr. We have been huge fans for years and seeing him in the Sacramento area is a dream! He is always on point and is so engaging with the audience! Love him! Out of the venue's control, but halfway through the set, the Wheatland waft of manure came breezing through LOL. Anytime Jimmy is in the area, we will be there!

  • Funny enough

by Kim on 10/20/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 3 out of 5

The tickets were less than $30 each for great seats at a 3rd rate venue so it was worth the price of admission. Some of the jokes were hysterically funny and others were just lazy and not funny.

  • Laughed for two hours

by Singerman on 10/20/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

Funny, current topics, Jimmy Carr is funny, and had the audience involved from beginning to end of show

  • Spectacular!

by Richard on 10/20/25Hard Rock Live Sacramento - WheatlandRating: 5 out of 5

Jimmy doesn't disappoint, his humor and repartee are without parallel! The spontaneity of his come backs is truly impressive!

  • Brutally hilarious

by Mysterion Guy on 10/20/25Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

He works blue so be prepared. Doesn't care about being cancelled so don't be offended by anything. Lots of crowd work. Bring your questions. Try to be creative and different. Not the same political stuff. My only issue was the comfort of the seats. I saw him at the Grove in Anaheim and the seating gets uncomfortable. After an hour it gets rough on the back. Seats are narrow too. If you are between a couple of large people, you're going to get squished. The show was great and was close to 2 hours long. Highly recommend if you like irreverent humor.

  • Quite funny and very entertaining

by GeorgeK on 10/19/25Grove of Anaheim - AnaheimRating: 5 out of 5

Jimmy was on point with his take on current events, his audience interaction and his sharp whitted delivery. A great night out for sure.

  • Funny As Always

by Linute on 10/18/25The Wiltern - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been Jimmy’s fan for years and he did not disappoint.

  • Disappointing, not clever

by Alex on 10/17/25The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 2 out of 5

I have this impression of Jimmy Carr’s being really smart and witty, and that’s what I saw on the Instagram videos. In reality, it was really basic gratuitous, just not very clever at all. I was disappointed and left halfway through.

  • Amazing!!

by AnaP on 10/17/25The Masonic - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

Saw him in SF this week. Show was 2 hours long and I could not stop laughing. Jimmy Carr is Hilarious!!! Loved how he interacts with the audience. Simply amazing!!! Love the show! Love Jimmy Carr.
