A fun afternoon of music, singing, and dancing in the Five Flags Center. The show was packed full of Christmas classics, and included the fun audience-inspired combination of tunes everyone enjoys. A recommended show!
Jim's show is a great way to start the Christmas season.
This is not only an opportunity to see and hear a world class pianist from Iowa, but a lot of fun. Well worth the money.
As my wife has been a fan for years I felt we should see the concert in person. It was great and we will be back for the December concert. We now need to share CD's as I am also a fan and we both play Jim's music in our cars. One word would be "Outstanding"
Jim sure puts on an amazing show!! We didn't want the show to end. His rapport and engagement with the audience is incredible. He is a true entertainer. His piano and singing talent is remarkable. Jim has done it yet again! His latest collection of songs from popular children's movies is simply a delight to listen to.. for all ages! My 9 year old daughter is fascinated by his playing, & could sit and listen for hours. Jim is even inspiring her to practice more on her own piano playing. Thank you so much!!
Jim McDonough is a phenomenal musician! I highly recommend trying to see him whenever you can, he will not disappoint.
The combination on piano, orchestra, and singers was special. The last song of O Holy Night, then the Halleluhia Chorus was exceptional. I liked being able to buy CDs at the concert. It doesn't seem like the concert is advertises mulch.
I have heard piano music before. Jim is truly an artist. What an amazing event. The quad City really needs to get together and show their support in 2011 if he decides to come back....
Jm McDonough put on a wonderful performance. First time I have attended a performance of his and was impressed with the ease he played the piano and of his enjoyable impromptu playing of audience random music selections. Mr. McDonough has a beautiful singing voice. The orchestra, lighting effects and show choir were all enjoyable additions to Mr. McDonough's music.

This show was so beautiful!!! There were parts that made me laugh, parts that made me say Wow and parts that brought out sincere emotion. At times it was bright and colorful and at others it was soft and beautiful. This show is everything that Christmas is about! I heard once that if you listen to music with your eyes open it goes into your head. If you listen with your eyes closed, it goes into your soul. I often listened with my eyes closed!
Jim was absolutely amazing. He is so talented and personable, I think he would appeal to every audience.

Jim McDonough is one of the premeir showmen in the country! His artistery at the piano is wonderful! Very easy to listen to and ENJOY!!!
If you have not purchased Jim McDonough's music, you are missing out on one of life's treasurers. I received a CD as a gift and now have 11 of them. Uplifting, soothing and spiritual... what more could one ask for in music!
