I am a huge fan of Jhené and have been for a while now so I was stoked to finally be able to see her live. I had very high expectations. I arrived about 40 minutes before doors opened and ended up being pretty close to the front of the audience. Waiting was a pain but that's ,expected seeing that I've never been to a concert where the artist has come out at the said time. The opening act was The Internet. This was my second time seeing them so I didn't really mind. It could have been worse. They performed for about an hour (and maybe even a little more) then proceeded off the stage. We waited again for Jhené to come out. She finally did looking even more beautiful in person. Her daughter was also on the side of the stage wearing matching cat ears recording her. I thought it was very cute. She was amazing live and I was even almost brought to tears by how happy I was. The reason why this review is getting 4 stars is because I was very disappointed in how long she actually performed. She performed for about maybe 45 minutes. The fact that the opening act performed longer than the actual artist made me a bit mad. I understand that it may not be her fault and could very well be at the fault of the venue. Overall though, at least I was able to see her and it's a night I won't forget.

Jhené Aiko is an alternative R&B singer from Los Angeles, California. After getting her start as a backing vocalist for ’00s boy band B2K, Aiko’s breakthrough came with her 2011 mixtape Sailing Soul(s). Her debut EP, Sail Out, followed in 2013 and contained the singles “3:16AM,” “Bed Peace” featuring Childish Gambino and “The Worst.” Further albums in Aiko’s discography include her 2014 debut full-length Souled Out, her 2017 sophomore effort Trip and 2020’s Chilombo which earned the artist three Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year. In 2023, Aiko released her single “Calm & Patient,” which likely serves as a precursor to her upcoming and as-yet-untitled fourth album.

Jhené Aiko’s The Magic Hour Tour starts in June. After kicking off in Detroit, Michigan, the North American tour will hit arenas in major cities throughout the U.S. and Canada for the rest of the summer.

I hate that they cut her off early, but she worked the stage like the goddess she is. Her band and The Internet were great as well.

I honestly would have given her 5 stars for this event but I didn't because the show was a little short and the venue was disappointing. She performed for about 45 minutes. It would have been nice if they would have given her an chance to do an encore at least. Then we got some food, and they kicked us out while we were still eating. It was only 11pm and we couldn't even stay and finish our food.

The music before the concert was from the 50's everyone was conplaining about it .

The artist put on an amazing show and after being called back for an en core she performed one of my favorite songs. Overall great eXperience.

She brought emotional content to the audience that many performers cannot. You can tell by her performance and the way she interacted with the audience that she is a genuine person. I always hoped that she would come and perform in Hawaii, now that she has, i hope that she'll come back and perform some of her songs off her up coming album Souled Out. Without a doubt the best concert i've ever been to!
