JESSIE WARE IN CONCERT:

English songstress Jessie Ware has been captivating fans around the world since breaking onto the pop scene with her ethereal love song "Wildest Moments". Ware possesses a polished style and silky-smooth vocals, and she effortlessly glides across the stage with grace at her enchanting performances. Her powerful lyrics and awe-inspiring sound transcend traditional pop, and her alluring music will be on full display as she treats concertgoers to songs from her debut album Devotion.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Before unleashing her solo career, London-born Jessie Ware developed her mesmerizing stage presence as a backup singer for fellow British rocker Jack Penate. While continuing to collaborate with heavy hitters like SBTRKT and Florence and the Machine, Ware was penning and recording originals of her own for her 2012 debut Devotion. The album landed at No. 5 on the UK Albums chart, earned the new singer a Mercury Prize nod, and proved she was well on her way as a rising superstar. After extensive touring and numerous festival appearances around the world, Ware is returning to the stage for a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

Great Show Which Could Have Been Incredible!!!

by Verdesoul on 4/12/15The Wiltern - Los Angeles

Jessie Ware was great she just kept playing hit after hit from her repertoire. However, she disappointed me by only playing for 1 hour and 15 minutes, plus no encore . She could have easily played an additional 30 minutes with all the great material in her arsenal, which left wondering if something happened off stage that we were not made aware of. Anyway, I loved the show it just left me craving for more like a Bobby Caldwell cover "Do For Love" for an encore!!!

Lacked musicality. Music Videos are better.

by Anonymous on 4/10/15Zellerbach Hall - Berkeley

Aside from Jassie Ware being cheeky and sweet and the star quality and my build uo of excitement of seeing her in person I have to say that from moment one I feel that the show lacked music and star luster and the wow factor was definitely amiss. 7- 9 songs maybe... no background vocals. and the musicians were bare. No playback video, intimate stage- Her opening act was so miss able, but had good energy for himself, except for one or two songs I could have easily missed him and been happier chatting up with a friend. Jassie didn't sing enough songs and the live music was Alright. Nothing really magical - therefore not very special, Sad to say, really because I had such high hopes and even treated myself to this as part of my early birthday gift. I am happy for the opportunity- but felt disappointed- 40 minutes of a few songs. That is all- Jassie Ware's video are better and far cheaper than was her live "performance. Her personality is super - just not the live show. I would give her a second chance but after that If I am missing the musicality and magic like the kind I saw of Sade's concert then I would definitely never again buy a ticket to any of her live events.

    Jessie Ware was mind-blowingly awesome

    by mkim17 on 4/10/15Zellerbach Hall - Berkeley

The venue was beautiful, and the crowd was totally into it. Jessie has amazing stage presence and her little monologues between sets were very natural - not forced at all. Her interactions with the crowd were hilarious and we all left feeling like we had been in a smaller venue. Even though she was sick, she dominated the songs and showed off her vocal range.

Jessie was simply amazing. I've been to many concerts where artist would woo you with big performances and shows, but all Jessie needed was her voice. Simply incredible

    Jessie Ware

Her voice is timeless. But the best part of the show is that there is no vanity with this artist, no gimmicks...just pure talent.

Another Jessie Ware show with near-silent vocals

by LAAA2014 on 10/28/14Tower Theater - Los Angeles

This is the 2nd time I've seen Jessie Ware live (the first time was at The Observatory in Santa Ana) and much like the first time, the sound quality was horrible. Most of the instruments were at a nice level, but for some reason the sound mixer has the lead guitar and - especially - Jessie's lead vocals turned waaaaaaaay down in the mix. For most of the songs you literally couldn't hear or understand what she was saying...It was that quiet. Hell, the conversations going on around me were louder than her. And this was the same problem with the Santa Ana show from about a year ago! She desperately needs to work with a new sound engineer. The funniest part is that while waiting in line for the bathroom I asked the guy next to me what he thought of the show and he said, "It was good but I couldn't hear anything she said or sang." ...My thoughts exactly!

    Great show but....

by Johnnycat2121 on 10/26/14Tower Theatre - Los Angeles

3rd X I have seen her. The location was a super old theater with NO AC!!! From my 3 shows she has never had an opening bad which I find strange? She also never does an encore which I find strange also. All and all a great performer and the sound was perfect but those little things you remember. Also, show was scheduled at 9 PM and she didn't start till well past 9:30? What gives...?

Jessie Ware was amazing!! The voice of an angel

by Kayekayo on 10/26/14Tower Theatre - Los Angeles

It was my second time seeing her and I loved how intimate the Tower Theatre is. She played an amazing set very similar to the one she did for the iTunes festival, if not the exact same but she killed it. Her vocals were ON POINT and she's much more comfortable on stage then when she first came out. She got everyone astonished and all her new tracks from the new album "Tough Love" are instant classic, just like for "Devotion". I love how she is humble and real and careful to deliver a perfect performance while involving the audience. Wish she actually sang a bit more of the first album just because I love her so much, but I understand she can't fit all her repertoire into one show.

    A great intimate performance!

by MKAS86 on 11/15/13Southside Music Hall - Dallas

While I've never been to the South Side Music Hall, it was a big enough space for all the attendees. The sound was great, you could hear the music even in the restroom. It was a varied crowd and more than enough space for everyone who wanted to dance to the songs. Jessie Ware sounds just as great live, sang all her songs in no particular order and everyone sang along. She also made a few jokes here and there and made sure the crowd was engaged. I will most definitely continue to follow her and listen to her music. Will recommend this show for anyone that likes pop, and variety of other fused rhythms.

Jessie Ware Rocked the House of Blues

by TeeDee66 on 11/12/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

It was a fantastic show. Jessie sang all of her hits with well thought variation. She's just gorgeous and she has a great personality. I danced so much, I sweated! I took a friend who never heard of Jessie Ware and now she's buying the CD. I had a great time! Venue was good too.
