About

With the release of Jesse McCartney’s new single “Better With You” — his first new music since his well-received 2014 album ‘In Technicolor’ — it’s worth noting that the  New York-born singer, songwriter, producer, and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’s “Bleeding Love” under his belt, McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today.

His fans have been waiting almost four years since ‘In Technicolor,’ one of Spin Magazine’s Top Pop Albums of 2014. "It was a transitional time where I just let myself have some space from my career and get some perspective on life, something I really hadn’t had the freedom to do since I was 10. Then, a friend invited me to come to Nashville to do a songwriting camp for other artists,” McCartney recollects. “It triggered a huge surge in creative energy that led me to put this project and team together.” Now that he’s moving, McCartney has no intention of slowing down. He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride.

The deliberate attention McCartney pays to his craft is evident in the new songs he is gearing up to release this year, including “Better With You,” which he co-wrote with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). The acoustic-guitar-driven pop song is more sonically organic than the stylized, ’80s-inspired songs on In Technicolor and McCartney has re-vamped his visuals with art direction by Dewey Saunders (Anderson .Paak, Bridgit Mendler). “It feels fresh to me,” McCartney says. “This is a really strange time,” he says. “Things are contentious. I think a song about finding a safe place with a partner is an uplifting message.”

    Too small venue

by Mourning on 5/3/24The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

I did enjoy the concert. Jesse McCartney sounded great, he played a great and vast variety of his songs from his debut album through his current EP(the tour he is on now is promoting the EP) he also mixed the setlist in an amazing way. However the venue I felt was too small as it was standing room only. I left about 1/2 way through the show I was behind a 6ft tall and didn't want to bob n weave from behind him to see Jesse McCartney. I feel Jesse McCartney should have played the fox theatre 5000 seat capacity and even if not sold out then move people in closer and curtain off unsold areas. That way everyone has a seat and can enjoy the concert in it's entirety

    10/10 Would Recommend

by Emily on 5/3/24Empire Live - Albany

I’ve been a fan of Jesse pretty much since “Beautiful Soul” was released in 2004, but I’d never had the opportunity to attend any of his concerts before. Simply put, it was amazing! Jesse is so talented and a phenomenal performer!! I’ve been to many concerts, but the All’s Well Tour is one of the best, if not THE BEST, I’ve ever been to!! From the first note to the last, I didn’t stop smiling or singing along. The whole team had such great energy the entire night. Every person from Jesse’s team that we interacted with was so kind, and Jesse himself is such a sweetheart!! I really can’t overstate what a great time we had. I only regret that it’s taken me this long to see him live, but this will definitely not be my last JMac show! Jesse, you’re amazing and you deserve the entire world! Your fans will never stop showing up and showing out for you. We love you and your beautiful soul 🥰

    Such a good concert!

by Jo B on 5/3/24The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

This is my first time in the Fillmore and it was a really beautiful theater. I opted for the balcony because I really wanted to sit because I'm over 40. Jesse did an amazing concert he did his new songs his old songs is in between songs and his band was awesome. It was just him and his band and it was so much fun. I strongly recommend going to a concert. He is a great artist and a great performer and of course a great singer. Justice little moves can tell that he is so much fun and he loves the crowd. I also really appreciate it his Instagram video thinking everyone about how much fun Detroit was. That's for getting in I wasn't happy that the concert started late but setlist let me know that it usually starts around 9:00 p.m. because of that I really didn't get in line until like 8: 30 and at that time getting in there was nice and smooth.

    Amazing but HOT

by Jannah G on 5/3/24The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

Omg Jesse McCartney was incredible, I’ve seen him a total of 3 times but omg the merch likes were TOO long and the air conditioning needed to be BLASTED! Someone fainted during the opening act. Just logistical things the venue needs to take care of for its patrons. JESSE WAS AMAZING.

by Ali on 5/3/24The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

When I got these tickets I expected it to be a fun show. It definitely was, but it was so much more! Jesse seemed to truly love what he was doing and to be so grateful for his fans! Truly an amazing time and phenomenal performance. Highly recommended, one of the best shows I have seen.

    Amazing concert

by Jos on 5/3/24The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

The concert was everything I could have dreamed of. Meet and Greet was after the show which I thought was a little weird so we were there very late and we had to stand for a long time while they set up the photo back drop. But was still a great time!!

    Absolutely Amazing Time

by Allie B. on 5/3/24The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

What an absolutely beautiful man. My first time seeing him in concert in the years I have been alive and boy was I in for a treat. I've been a huge fan of his since 2004 (he was my first celebrity crush and still is) and I found myself screaming to every word of every song. He was so energetic and funny on stage that made my night the absolute best. My boyfriend came with me and could tell how excited I was when he came out on stage. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be seeing him again in the near future. If you have the chance, go see this man perform. You will not be disappointed.

You will have a magical evening with Jesse!

    by Jen on 5/3/24

I have seen Jesse 4 times and two of them had me driving for over 3 hours and crossing the border to get to him and he could not have possibly made it more worthwhile, he is such a pure and true superstar with no gimmicks or tricks needed. He is my absolute favorite artist and has been even since I first heard Right Where You Want Me, I listen to his music non stop and I love so much that he has gone through a few different styles throughout the years because it gives so much variety to choose from and you could be in so many different types of Jesse moods when you are deciding what to put on. He is an amazing performer and had such genuine energy running through the whole theater the other night in Detroit causing people to get on their feet and dance on their own accord and from their own excitement over his various songs, he did not once have to ask people to get up on their feet or try to play his own hype man like I have seen so many artists have to do in concert (which I do not blame them for). The floor was literally shaking in the Fillmore the other evening and it was so electric throughout that whole theater and was such a vibe. If you are trying to decide whether to go and see him my advice would be to absolutely not miss out and get the best seat you can and then be prepared to get your socks knocked right off because he is one heck of a performer. Also he really actually sings, you can hear his voice clearly, he doesn't try to hide behind a music track or sing over top of his own vocals to make it easier on himself, he actually just genuinely sings to you and puts his all into it. He is absolutely amazing and it just makes everything so much better that he is genuinely just a nice and down to Earth person. He is the one with a beautiful soul and I am so delighted every time I look at the fan meet and greet photos because you can tell he is genuinely trying to give all of himself that he can to have fun with his fans and make their experience memorable. I will never ever miss a show of his that comes anywhere in my vicinity and would cancel any other plans I might have just to make sure I could be there. He gets 20 stars out of 10 for me.
