With strings-driven melodies and lyrics that are reminiscent of stomp-and-holler stars like The Avett Brothers, Nathaniel Rateliff and Gregory Alan Isakov, Christian singer-songwriter Jervis Campbell is quickly making a name for himself in the Nashville music scene.
Campbell's message to fans is simple: Making music helps him, and he releases it with the hope that it might help them, too. His 2021 debut album Onward & Upward caught on in the Contemporary Christian music scene with songs like "Eden" and "Praise Him Forever," but fans applaud Campbell for being more than a Christian Rock artist. They also praise his prolific technical skills on the guitar and powerful song lyrics, all of which can be heard throughout his 2023 Hopeful EP.
Campbell originally hails from North Carolina, though he is now a resident of Nashville, Tennessee. He first gained traction with the 2019 song "Garden," and followed that up with a five-track EP that same year titled Glory.
Campbell brought his authentic songwriting, unique vocals and stringed melodies to the stage when he headed out on tour in 2023, performing concerts across the United States.

Seriously one of the best concerts ever. The Opener was so good too and actually brought my 17 year old daughter to tears! Every Christian and God believing person needs to Jervis’ music! Can’t say enough about it! Fantastic!!’
Jervis Campbell is my favorite Christian musician. He has turned his prayers into songs, and those songs are now going out into the world. I knew when I started listening to him four years ago that he should be going places, and it looks like he is well on his way. May God continue to bless him and bless those reached by his music for many decades to come.
My first Christian based concert and wow! Amazing and intimate performance. Truly I felt God presence there. I stop listening to secular music 6 month ago. I love his music style.
We saw Jervis Campbell and Thomas Austin at Duling Hall. Both artists are truly that - artists. Duling Hall was the perfect venue for an evening of stellar music, fun, and authentic worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. My absolute favorite part of the night was seeing the younger people there be so excited about Jesus during Praise Him Forever. The venue was small enough to create an intimate space, but with breathing room and even some tables and chairs. Saltine was available for dinner and we enjoyed a delicious meal as we waited for Thomas to take the stage. We plan to see them again anytime they are close enough!
