Jerry Blavat talked wayyy to much. Didn't let the audience listen to the music, he sang along with every song. Was hoping he would get the audience involved in the end of the year song. Unfortunately wouldn't recommend.
As always a good time was had by all! The music was great and the food was fantastic. Saw old friends and just had a good time dancing.
The Venue itself was Great. The food was Excellent. The Guests were Friendly. However Jerry talks way too much through the Good Oldies Tunes that were being played. He's repetitive with his comments and I feel it took away from the enjoyment of the music. When dinner was served, he wasn't MCing and it was nice to hear the Pure Music.
Jerry Blavat with DJ Joel were terrific and kept the event fun & entertaining. Sands management staff should have had TV monitors on tied into Times Square ball drop. Also, could have added a baloon drop for the NYE party. Food was pretty good. Venue was decorated nicely.
Jerry Blavat and DJ Joel were amazing, as usual! Besides the terrific music, the food was wonderful. The ballroom was decorated beautifully and the waitstaff were all so friendly and accommodating. With so many dinners (about 600) to be served, I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the food and the quality. The buffet was very very nice as well. We met several really nice people and danced all night.
Jerry was great...........the band killed the whole night. The food was ok but could have been a lot better. Enjoyed the WHOLE night though
the portion that blavat was on was good, they had live band which cleared the dance floor for an hour, til blavat came back on. also the food was not very good!! actually we could not eat it, Surf and turf. I felt that they cut the show short, was over by 15 minutes after midnight not til 1 am as advertised
Very nice event. No wait at the bar, music was good, it got everyone dancing the entire time. If I had to complain I'd say the food could've been a little hotter (it was warm) and the table was very crowded. All in all it was a really good time that I would go to again. :)
This is one of the BEST New Years Eve Party ever. Jerry is a great host and keeps the crowd on the dance floor. It is my second time attending this celebration and I will do it again next year if possible. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!
We went last year to Jerry Blavatt's New Year's Eve party at the Taj Mahal in the Tiara Ballroom and it was great, but didn't compare to the extraordinary Fire and Ice Show in the Etess arena. It was the best New Year's Eve party we've ever been to. Jerry was great as always, but this year he was really special dancing with the beautiful girls, and he did HIS THING better than ever. The music selection was so much better than last year. The decorations were so unbelievable. The lighting, the flames, the room was beautiful!!!! The food was fabulous, the wait staff outstanding. We are ready to do it again next year.
the entertainment, service and dinner were excellent
The night was outstanding. The facility is fine. The service was friendly and accommodating THE FOOD WAS THE WORST IN 5 YEARS! BONES IN THE CHICKEN! SALMON WAS FISHY AND OBVIOUSLY NOT FRESH. TRUMP IS A CHUMP AND NEEDS TO PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS LIKE QUALITY FOOD.
This is my third year spending New Year's at the Trump with Jerry Blavat, and as always it was the best night of great music, entertainment and dancing. The food was great and the staff at the Trump were wonderful!! I look forward to going again next year for New Year's. If you went and did not have fun, it was your own fault!!
