Jeff Rosenstock in Concert
Punk rock renaissance man Jeff Rosenstock wears many musical hats, and he wouldn't have it any other way. When not tending to his thriving solo career, the Long Island native runs his own label, Quote Unquote Records, that releases albums on the basis of donations. In addition, Rosenstock plays with Antarctigo Vespucci, a retro-kissed synth-rock collaboration with Chris Farren that released a new album, 'Love in the Time of E-Mail,' in October 2018. Rosenstock has also produced albums by Laura Stevenson, Mikey Erg, and the Smith Street Band.
The fiercely DIY, cheerfully outspoken musician first cut his teeth in a ska band, The Arrogant Sons of B*****s, but found greater fame after launching the beloved punk troupe Bomb the Music Industry! in the mid 2000s. That group churned out an impressive number of albums and singles during their decade together, and became known for inclusive, all-ages shows and an interactive merch experience: Fans were encouraged to use stencils to spray-paint their own Bomb the Music Industry! T-shirts at gigs.
This freewheeling independent spirit extends to Rosenstock's solo work, which includes full-lengths such as 2016's critically acclaimed 'WORRY' and 2018's equally lauded 'POST-.' In addition to gleefully hopscotching between genres – from bracing punk-pop, to keyboard-spiced indie-rock, and lo-fi bedroom-punk – he isn't afraid to delve into politics, mental health, social issues, and even the quirks and frustrations of music industry insider baseball.
Such vulnerability has helped Rosenstock amass a devoted fan base. Naturally, the musician has found a home touring with a who's-who of fiercely independent, socially conscious punk bands, including AJJ, Modern Baseball, PUP, and the Menzingers, and is a regular at punk rock gatherings such as The Fest. No matter where Rosenstock and his band play, however, they ooze passinn while honoring the power of music.

This was by far the best show I’ve ever been too! Venue is sizable but allows you to feel close to the artist. So awesome!
Jeff is amazing live. I’ve been to over 70 concerts in my life, and he ranks near the top. He brings so much energy and passion, plus his musicianship is really good. The energy at his shows is invigorating but also can get emotional and down-to-earth. Highly recommend seeing Jeff and his band perform live.
Jeff Rosenstock is in my opinion the best live musician i've ever had the chance to see. If you like punk rock, ska, indie, power pop, alternative, or anything in between you'll like this guy. He bring an earnestness and sincerity into his music that can only be matched by his sheer explosive energy they brings to the stage. the band really make you feel like you're involved and i've never been sweatier, my voice raspier, and my legs as sore after a show as after one of his.
Took Jeff almost 5 years to come back to CO with the full band, but it was well worth the wait. Great venue, amazing performance, fun mosh pit. Rosenstock always has the best shows.
Jeff's been my favorite musician for a few years now. His lyrics connect with those who feel unheard, plus his music sounds awesome. He's even better live. Love you, Jeff!
If you're a Rosenstock fan, seeing him live is an absolute must. Jeff gives his all to each and every show, and makes an effort to make each one seem special. The openers (Oceanator and Slaughter Beach, Dog) were also fantastic. I'll definitely see him again next time he's in town.
Life changer for my son!! Brought my 16-year-old son and two of his best friends. All three said it was one of the best times of their lives! Jeff Rosenstock puts on a show like no other! Wish I could attach videos of them crowd surfing! Masquerade is one of the best venues I’ve ever been to!
Pretty big crowd, they had upgraded from Purgatory to Heaven at the Masquerade in Atlanta which was nice. Crowd was super friendly and lively group. Oceanator killed it in the opening, hadn’t listened to them before. Slaughter Beach, Dog was killer… but Jeff, man! Jeff got the crowd hopping second song in, played for like an hour and a half, maybe close to two hours, and came back out for a three or four song encore! Super energetic on stage, awesome interaction with the crowd, whole thing was an outstanding experience.
The Danforth Music Hall is a great venue. Perfect size and great environment. Smart set up for getting people in, coat check, bar, and bathroom. Clean, easy, and quick. All in all had a great time seeing Jeff Rosenstock there!
There was so much respect in the crowd and his music is super fun to dance to! If you want to try out a show with a push pit but you're nervous, Jeff is a great show to try it out!
Seeing any project Jeff Rosenstock is involved in is always a good time. Any venue that books him is okay by me. Crowd surfing frontman, hilarious bass player, the men of many bands on guitar and keyboard, and the hard hitting and friendly drummer. Highly recommend seeing this band in any way you can.
My boyfriend and I came into St. Louis to see this show and we were not disappointed. It was our first time seeing Jess Rosenstock and Laura Stevenson. The opening band was really incredible and the crowd was very responsive. Laura's set was great and it seemed there were more of her fans in the audience. When Jeff came out the energy in the room just went through the roof. I've only seen a few bands that looked like they had as much fun playing a show as Jeff Rosenstock. His energy was great he played for a long time and the crowd was having a great time. That was our first time at the venue and it was really cool too.
