Jeff Bridges and the Abiders were fantastic. The story-telling that Jeff added between songs created a personal aura to the show. The Abiders provided a very strong foundation to the music.
The music was good but we didn't walk out of there jazzed about what we had just experienced . The sound setup was not great but did improve over the course of the show.. Too much bass in the drums. The show was 90 minutes. The lead guitarist is quite good as can be expected in a band assembled by someone of Mr Bridges caliber. The other musician were not really showcased with any solo's, etc. Bridges is a good keyboard player and decent singer. This is not a 75 dollar ticket. 50 bucks maybe -75 left me feeling a little under nourished in terms of length of show and sound quality. Bridges is a great actor whom we like very much -no doubt. I chalk this up to a unique experience which we won't forget but musically it was just average.
Jeff Bridges & The Abiders played a 2 hour set filled with awesome covers and some of Jeff's music from various movies he has been in. He is an incredibly funny guy with an enormous presence on stage. He had the theater laughing and singing along all night! So glad I was able to see the dude in person. Would definitely go again and recommend it to anybody that likes old school country music! (even as a non country music fan)
Jeff Bridges was absolutely fantastic! He's such a talented guy. His voice sounds just as good in person as it does on his recordings. The show was great, the music was amazing, and he was funny to boot. It was all we had hoped for and more!
My husband and I treated ourselves to an evening of music and fun with Jeff and gang. We did not know any of his music but now we do :-) I love Jeff's movies and watched his father on TV years ago. Loved every minute of his show with his talented band. Peggy
Jeff Bridges is a virtuoso of talent. Brilliant actor, humanitarian, great artist and awesome musician. It was apparent that he was having a good time playing music and singing with his friends. They played a wide variety from country to the groovy sixties. The encore song was a favorite from the movie Crazy Heart. Jeff is unassuming and very laid back - made for a great evening.
Saw Jeff Bridgs & The Abiders at "The Venue" at the Horseshoe Casino and was thrilled by the dynamics of the music. Continuous playing, entertaining for about a 1 1/2 hours. Played their whole new album of music, which should be released very shortly according to Bridges. After you get past the crowd continuosly yelling out "DUDE", Jeff Bridges proves he belongs on the musical stage.
I did not know what to expect but Jeff proved to be quite a good musician and his band was top notch. He plays both rhythm and lead guitar, as well as keyboards. He performed some outstanding songs, written by a childhood friend and one or two he co-wrote. His voice was kind of like he looks, a bit rough and gravelly but it was strong and on key. He had amusing banter between songs. He seemed a bit apprehensive, at first, but turned out to be quite the showman. It was a very good show that got better as it progressed. As the audience began to warm up and show appreciation, he responded with more confidence. In the end, he got a rousing standing ovation. I would, absolutely, see the show again. I bought the meet and greet. It was rushed, as all such things are, but he was gracious and I am very glad I did it.
This was one TIGHT band! Unforgettable night....:)

Jeff bridges is the scruffy version of the Reniassance man. Incredible musician, actor and man. His songs were a great mix of originals, his favorite song writers, and a few of the more well known rock songs. I'd see him again in a heart beat!
Very disappointing. I could not understand lyrics.
