Concerts are often slow-moving affairs, but in this case, it was not until two hours after the listed start time that any of the advertised artists made an appearance on stage. Immortal Technique was preceded by a metaphorical clown car of subpar unknown goons -- first it was just one coming out, then two, then three, then four... and none of them left the stage to make room for Technique, who for many was the main attraction. Technique had a solid set as expected, though punctuated by outbursts of nonsense from his back-up rappers. One 300-pound goon became very confused when the crowd did not react well to his insistent dis of Philly.
JMT started around midnight (3.5 hours after the curtain was supposed to go up), but I did not stick around that long.
