REDEMPTION OF A DOGG ON TOUR
Award-winning writer, director and producer Je'Caryous Johnson is once again taking the nation by storm with his new stage play, Redemption of a Dogg. The highly anticipated follow up to his sold out stage play, Set It Off, Redemption of a Dogg, stars entertainment icon Snoop Dogg and features R&B hit maker and star of WE TV's Braxton Family Values, Tamar Braxton. Redemption of a Dogg examines the internal battle one man has between preserving his life-long legacy and losing the love of his life when he is faced with choosing fame and fortune over faith and family. The play's story takes audiences on a magical music ride as they step into the captivating world of a Je'Caryous Johnson Entertainment production. Redemption of a Dogg is set against a backdrop of Snoop Dogg's greatest hits, as well as, songs from his recently released chart-topping Gospel album, Bible Of Love and makes its debut on the heels of the 25th Anniversary of Snoop Dogg's debut album, Doggystyle.
This was a great play with a strong message to all.
Great show,I enjoyed it! The show was well put together and the cast did a great job...I felt it was inspiring and had a positive message. It’s was really good!!!
It was better than I expected, the message was amazing...
I thought the show was good, I really enjoyed myself. It was entertaining with a good message. The sound quality was spotty at times, but overall good performance. I would recommend seeing it.
The play was one of, if not the best plays I have ever been to. The integration of a concert atmosphere into the play was just genius! I have to give it up to Snoop and Je Caryous Johnson, brilliant!
Everyone did a great job. Im so happy i went Tamar did a Wonderful job
It was really a nice play y’all should go check it out I truly enjoyed it
The play was ok since I don't really listen to his music. They was nice wish they had monitors set up so you could see the actors clearer.
5stars for Stage Scene, 5stars for Music Performances, 5stars for Story Line, 5stars Overall... I would see this play AGAIN "Standing Ovation".
I must say I can't then going to this play just to hear his music basically because that's what I knew but the way they flipped it around like the Ghost of Christmas I was really impressed and I would recommend anybody who has the chance to check it out definitely go see it
I've been to 3 plays by Je'Caryous Johnson and this one was my least favorite. I love Snoop, love Tamar Braxton but this play didn't grab me. I get the concept. Maybe a movie would have been better. It seemed very sacreligious. A little slow. There were some funny moments, some moments that made you think, but overall I didn't enjoy it as much as the others. I think the goal was to get unbelievers to think about attaining a relationship with God. Hopefully a seed was planted.
They Play was fantantic but the seating was a little tight and they needed more air circulating
Loved the play and the performances was outstanding and professional.. I hope they decide to come to Kansas City, Missouri
For a show that I had no idea what to expect, this musical/play was completely unexpected and fantastic. A great blend of amazing talent and voices, and an engaging story. A combination of concert atmosphere combined with play. And in the end, a great message. I have followed Snoop Dogg from the beginning, and appreciate the "redemption of the Dogg".
Terrific show. Amazing play! I would see and pay again over and over again. Snoop my dog was terrific!
This play was great and the cast did a wonderful job. It was very entertaining from beginning to end.
The play didn't hit the most important part of Snoop Dog life. I'm 35 and I grew up listening to snoop dog. I personally feel that the most important parts of his life should have been in the play. But overall the performerance was amazing. The cast members were AMAZING!
This play was well worth it! You have three great performers/icons and a play all in one! We felt like we went to 3 concerts and a play! How awesome! Not to mention some very talented actors! Snoop Dog is brilliant! I like Tyler Perry’s plays but this one by far, is the best!
the play was wonderful and Erikah Badhu was a nice surprise.
This play was witty, gritty, funny, overall very entertaining!!
