Good 1 man show. His hit list is long and his stories informative and funny. John David, as he is referred to, seemed to enjoy his time in Cincinnati with the crowd. You learn a lot about him, his music and his songwriting prowess. His vocal range was good, his vocal strength is waining. All in all he sound good and the song catalog is incredible. Would love to see him again. Fun show!!
JD was such a great experience!! He gave us an amazing night; he shared his creativity, his playfulness, and his exceptional showmanship! Don’t miss this!! JD represents the life of a songwriter by describing the background of his songs, including his relationship with Linda Ronstadt, the Eagles, and Jackson Browne!
Not only did you need to buy at ticket for the show, you also needed to buy a 15 dollar drink that tasted like it came from the sewer on 45th. The venue was a wind tunnel so it was only slightly above the outside temperature at any given time. Thought JD is very talented and a gifted musician, he resorted to talking about politics at one point which was very tasteless. The icing on the cake was meeting him and realizing that he is an arrogant self absorbed man. Should have left after the show and the dream would still be alive. Very disappointed.
Sony Hall was a great venue. The staff, the food & the sound were all top notch! JD Souther sounds great and still hits those high notes. He gives an intimate show with interesting stories to introduce the songs. He also does a meet and greet after the show where he signs autographs! Looking forward to his next show in our area.

Was a great show. An Amazing selection of songs. He signs CDs and albums after the show. Highly recommend seeing his show. Wonderfully evening.
Food is awful. 3 rd time I’ve been there. Food always awful. Won’t eat there again.
