Nostalgic theater with great acts and ambience

by Cricket on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten Island

Great acts with familiar songs. Performers that engaged the audience. An emcee that kept the momentum going. Nice holiday backdrop and the performers wore festive outfits that also fit the era of the songs. The band was super!

    Doowop at st George theatre

by M. N. on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten Island

The venue is beautiful. Recommend anyone to go there. The show was one of the best I’ve seen. Just wish the performers would stay on stage. Some walk down into the audience which is nice for those in orchestra but for others we end up hearing but seeing no one on stage for a while. They sang great.

    Great show

by Zuffman on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten Island

The enhanced Mic system was great, in some past years the songs were good but low, hard to hear words. This year was the best ever. Mr Bobby Wilson was fabulous

Had a great time 🌟 Fantastic Show

by L. K. on 12/10/19St. George Theatre - Staten Island

What a great show! My husband and I enjoyed this lovely 3 1/2 hour show and would definitely return next year. The groups performed their hits and also a Christmas tune. It was nice to reminisce of a time long ago but seems like only yesterday. It was a true Holiday Doo Wop Show. The St. George Theatre was dressed in her finest holiday attire. Their sound system was perfect for singing along to some amazing performers. Looking forward to the St. George theatre CHRISTMAS Show this weekend.

    Jay Siegel's Tokens were great!

by JuliannaMarie on 10/17/16Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Bears Den - Niagara Falls

Jay Siegel, the original lead singer on all the Token's hits still sounds just like their records. The Lion Sleeps Tonight was amazing! And Jay's other featured vocalist, Kurt Yahjian was also phenomenal singing She Cried and some of Dion hits. Really wonderful show.

Loved the show, they can still sing after all these years. Their voice sounds just like it did when they first recorded.

Duop Rules, but not at Coconut Creek

by UnBreathable on 6/26/12Seminole Coconut Creek Casino - Coconut Creek

Duop "Mob" outstanding group, voices second to none. Came to see Jay Seigel and his group, again. Seigel and Trainor, fabulous, I could listen to them over and over do their thing. I can't say the same about the venue. We walked into the Casino from the parking garage and the smell of smoke permeated the air. As we walked through we were hoping for relief when we got to the "Pavillion". Wow, were we disappointed!!! The same smelly air we kept breathing for over two hours. It was even worse when the "Mobs" band was lighting up behind the drum stand, you could see the smoke rising into the lights being tossed about by the blowing air. We love seeing these types of shows but will never ever compromise our health again, breathing in second hand smoke, when it is presented at the Coconut Creek Casino. We couldn't get out fast enough.

Even though I'm in my early 40's I truly enjoyed this concert. I grew up listening to Doo Wop since it was one of my dad's favorite music. Thank you so much for bringing back such beautiful memories!! :)
