JASON BONHAM IN CONCERT:
Jason Bonham’s thunderous drumming recalls one of the greatest to ever sit behind the skins: his father John Bonham of Led Zeppelin. Even as the son of a rock legend, Jason has managed to carve out a niche of his own, becoming one of the most in-demand drummers playing today. Instead of just conducting the band from behind his trademark transparent kits, Bonham often engages with the audience, calling for them to cheer and sing along to their favorite songs. Touring with both his original material and his work with Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience, he continues to treat ticket buyers to mind-blowing drumming that simply cannot be missed.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
When legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham died, there was only one person who could come close to creating the massive sound he was known for-—his son Jason. Whenever the band has needed over the past 20 years, Jason Bonham has stepped into his father’s shoes, admirably carrying the torch lite by the late great drummer. The younger Bonham is a virtuosic musician in his own right, good enough to open for The Firm in 1985, when he was just 19. In addition to supporting the likes of Led Zeppelin, Jimmy Page, Slash, Foreigner, UFO, Paul Rodgers, and Joe Bonamassa, he leads his tribute band Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience. He also appeared as part of the fictional band Steel Dragon in the movie Rock Star (2001) along with guitarist Zakk Wylde. In 2006 Bonham co-starred in the VH1 reality series Supergroup along with other noteworthy rock stars Ted Nugent, Sebastian Bach, and Scott Ian.
Jason has assembled top notch players that play the music of Led Zeppelin with authenticity and power. He has his dads gift and it was truly a memorable evening thrown back in time. Jason presents this experience with humility, and awesome drum chops- really has his dads gift. His band transformed the night into a 1979 Led Zeppelin concert.
We enjoyed it more than Page & Plant! The music is a perfect representation of the original, they totally jammed!

JBE was excellent as always and never disappoints. I absolutely love coming to this concert and have been doing so for years. My only complaint is the late start due to his son performing. His son’s (Jagger) band played from 8-9 PM with songs no one had ever heard of. Truthfully, it was an energy draw. Had we known JBE wasn’t going to start until 9:00, we would have shown up later. It’s great he supports his son, but I would have preferred to skip that due to the style of music and it’s overall negative lyrics.
Jason Bonham and the Led Zeppelin Experience was THE best concert I've seen in a long time! The Greek Theater is the perfect setting for JBLZE to rock us with their hard-hitting, rocking music. Thank you so much, Jason and company, for honoring us So Calif residents with your precision and amazing musical talents! God bless you always!
This is our 3rd time seeing Jason Boham at The Greek. Absolutely the BEST. Looking forward for my 4th time. GREAT SHOW!!!

It was our first time seeing Jasen Bonham’s show. It was absolute PERFECTION!!! It’s been two days & we can’t stop thinking about it. We want to see them again ASAP! Loved it!
I’ve been to numerous concerts and Jason Bonham’s LZE is now a top 5 concert in my list. The venue as always is amazing and the sounds of Led Zeppelin just topped it. Show is a must see!!
We got really good seats for a decent price. The band played all the Led Zeppelin songs I remembered growing up. It is awesome the Jason Bonham talks about his father and the influence his dad had on him, even though he was young when his dad passed. The music was fantastic and the band played with a lot of passion.
This is the 2nd time I’ve Seen Jason. JBLZE 💥💥 simply amazing. My 28 year old son and my 17 year old son we’re blown away by the by the similarity to the original band. Jason is gracious and completely involves the audience. If you have ever been a zeppelin fan this is a must see show. I can’t wait until next year. Thank You Jason
A great show…an amazing bunch of players…as someone else said Close your eyes and you are at a Zeppelin concert. Jason carries on the legacy of his dad and the band… Greek Theatre is the perfect venue for this and the facility and staff are all slick…very enjoyable.
Great show, awesome band “Guitar Jimmy” was “UNBELIEVABLE” — “Robert Plant” on base was nostalgic — Jason’s love for his Dad was so nice! HIGHNOTE: Jaeger Henry Bonham was noteworthy, and I would so enjoy seeing him perform with his bandmates in LA again soon — loved his gig !!!
Very cool... this is my 4th time seeing them. The Greek is a great place to see them as well as other artists. I love how Jason Bonham engages the crowd and seems genuinely grateful to the audience. Plus the band looks like they are having fun too And we got to see his son perform with his band - we wish him the best!
I’ve seen this show several times! It’s awesome. It’s once a year at the Greek, except for the Covid thing. Check it out next year!

I’m a true Led Zeppelin fan. I’ve seen Jason Bonham with other bands. But he did himself with this Led Zeppelin evening. One of my greatest concerts I’ve been to.
The Greek has really stepped up their game. Beautiful spots to sit, hang out before the show, and dine. We upgraded our seats to Elite before the show. Wow! Worth every penny. Now for the show. JBLZE is the absolute best! As a huge Zeppelin fan, I generally don't like cover bands. Jason and his band mates are AMAZING! I love this show and will return every year to hear them. If you haven seen them, go. It is a fantastic experience.
JBLZE was excellent as usual. This has been a tradition for us every time they play at the Greek. And Jason Bonham's son's band was great too.
