great show...great cause...need to turn up the sound
The show was very good , Jakes Leg did a good job with there cover of some Grateful Dead tunes to get the show rolling. The Little Feat portion of the show was a nice mix of their past hits with some other songs from that era. All told good time and an amazing venue well laid out and well run.
Really great version of They Love Each Other. I liked that they played some ole John Prine. Them ole boys were having fun up there. Would love them to swing by Quincy.
I have followed Jakes leg for over 35 years starting at pig roast at the Busch's house, not the beer people, it was a Muh Huh. Ye3arly party with Thom Sehnert cooking, and dancing on the roof. I have not seen them in 8 years and did not attend the party down south. They sounded better, practice has really increased the sound. Anyway I brought the whole family.6 of us the youngest 20 years old, as this may be the last time I see them, at 62 the party surrounding the event has gotten harded to handle the next day.Wfe all enjoyed ourselves.
Aaron Kamm and the One Drops were amazing. Despite only have 3 musicians they played with an energy that lit up The Pageant. AK himself was on fire and never missed a beat. Jake's Leg was marginal at best.
The show was amazing. Aaron Kamm and the one drops opened and they started the night off right. Everybody was grooving from the start. After a short break, Jake's Leg came on and they sounded great. The Pageant has some of the best sound quality around and Jake's Leg took advantage of it. There was not a bad seat in the house. They rocked from beginning to end. I will see them at the Pageant every chance I get.
