Before becoming a country music sensation, Florida-born Joshua “Jake” Owen dreamed of becoming a professional golfer until a wakeboarding incident led to reconstructive surgery and left Owen unable to keep playing. He borrowed a neighbor’s guitar and began teaching himself to play, eventually playing country covers in bars before writing his own material and moving to Nashville. There he met producer Jimmy Ritchey and eventually executives at Sony BMG, who signed him to RCA Records and put out his debut album Startin’ with Me in 2006, producing the single “Yee Haw.” Owen toured in support of Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, and excited ticket holders with his baritone voice and lively tunes. He also opened for Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Keith Urban. His second album Easy Does It in 2009 and spawned three more singles, “Don't Think I Can't Love You,” “Eight Second Ride,” and “Tell Me.” In 2011, Owen’s third album Barefoot Blue Jean Night was released, and both the title track and single “Alone with You” hit No. 1 on the country charts. 2013 saw a US concert stretch with Jason Aldean and his newest single “Days of Gold,” which precedes his fourth studio album of the same name due out in December.
Daves Highway and Tyler Booth were great. Had not seen either before and really liked their music! Jake Owen put on a fantastic show! Loved everything about this concert and love The Factory--great venue!
He did a great job. Such a talented artist. He definitely deserves more awards. This was my second time seeing him in concert.

The venue is really nice. Plenty of bars and restrooms. Atmosphere is fun. Our group had a blast. Jake put on a great show and was high energy. Staff are very nice and helpful. The new priority entrance really sped up our entry. Fantastic night from start to finish.
What a great show from the 2 opening acts to Jake Owen. Jake has such a great stage presence!!!! First time at The Factory. We will definitely be back to see more concerts!

Huge fan of Jake Owen! Love his music and how he interacts with the crowd. First time at Uptown Theater, very impressed with venue from the comfy seats in the balcony to the friendly staff.
Walked in to the venue and expected to see seating! To our surprise, no seating unless you pay extra or were disabled. Standing room only. Stayed long enough for two warm up performances and left before main artist.
Loved Jake Owen. Expected it to be a good show but he exceeded my expectations. Great interaction with the crowd without cutting into playing time. Only complaint was the venue had no jumbtrons so it was difficult to see. However, very nice clean venue with great sound. Looking forward to seeing Jake Owen again and see other shows at Red Hat.
I’ve seen Jake several times now and this one was the best yet. He has so many hits and he genuinely seems to have a good time up there. Great crowd and facility for a fun night. Niko Moon as the opener blew me away!

I’ve seen Jake Owen a few times, and he never disappoints. This time was no different. He knows how to make sure the audience has an awesome time. I would highly recommend it.
The concert was outstanding!! I didnt know him, we had pit pass tickets from my son and were so happy! I soon became Jake's fan!!... The only kink in the concert was scanning of the tickets on my cell phone. They were a transfer which i found out later could be a problem. I had to go to box office since only 1 ticket got scanned. Box office coukdnt print out hard copy either. Bsck outside, after transferring tickets yet again to friends phone finally scan the 2nd ticket. We didnt get to see the opening act!!!
Jake's poweful voice sounds great live and he brings the energy. He's a great entertainer. Will be seeing him next chance I get.
It rained a little bit able to have show. I have been Jake's fan from the beginning. I love his music! He has an awesome personality with his fans. He sang his older songs and new songs too. I like the longer hair too. My mother died on June 10, 1997. He sang Heaven for a security person, but it also had a special meaning for me too. Thank you Jake, you are awesome!!
Pit access was easy and fast to get in. It wasnt overly crowded so we could enjoy the entire concert without being pushed back.
Jake sounded excellent!! He started right on time which was nice with such iffy weather. Everything about venue was great except taking 30 min to get a drink
