There’s the hair, then there are the glasses, but ultimately there is a person who is a magnet for positive energy, emotion, and creating stories. While he feels a deep connection to his past – Jake Clemons continues to make a deep connection in the present by living life to its fullest through a musical journey. If you take the mysterious, rugged side of Johnny Cash and mix it with the soulful down to earth love child of Bruce Springsteen and Clarence Clemons – shaken not stirred of course – you end up with the unique and talented Jake Clemons. He plays the guitar, sax, piano, and drums, he writes music, he sings, he loves rock ‘n roll!
If you are still wondering who Jake Clemons is then consider that he has shared the stage with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Swell Season, The Roots, and Eddie Vedder to name a few. This is the roster of a man who is leaving a legacy of storytelling.
Jake lives on a perpetual world tour, constantly releasing new music and engaging his growing fan base.
Jake Clemens was a lot of fun, keyboardist Brett Mayer was awesome . I would and will definitely go again.
After seeing Jake playing saxophone with Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band multiple times and thinking he was great, it was wonderful to see him in this different capacity. It was a very intimate concert, really one where you could grasp the band's emotions and the songs' true meaning. Everything just sounded great. I would go see him again right now
The legendary Stone Pony delivers nothing short of great music. Jake Clemons stood on a stage he deserved to stand on. He is the REAL deal!! Go see him!
This was such a fun show - very diverse performers coming together for an amazing night. Michelle Moore was amazing and had the crowd engaged with her soulful sounds. Jake Clemons was also very entertaining - interactive with the crowd and played a great mix of songs. Loved this show!
Jake Clemons is a surprisingly good singer. He doesn't only play sax. His voice is very soothing. Didn't care for Low Cut Connie. The Jerry Lee Lewis look-a-like was a little too much. He thought he was super hot and he was not. Michelle Moore and the Alliance Singers were very good as always.
Went to the Jake Clemons show a couple of nights ago, Jake's band was the headliner with Michelle Moore and the Alliance Singers along with Low Cut Connie. It was for sure a fun night, Michelle Moore and the Alliance Singers did an amazing job opening the show and got the party started. Then came Low Cut Connie, really energetic band but they were not all that good. Actually killed the crowd even though they were energetic, it was just weird. Jake Clemons was the perfect way to close out the show. Talk about talented musicians! Literally, everyone in his band had talent. Drummer was killing it all night long and the guitar player was ripping it. Jake sounded great and was energetic throughout his whole set. I want to say Jake played for about close to 2 hours just on there set alone. Would go again to see Jake.
Talented group of musicians. Original songs were amazing. Jake and the band play very well together... They rocked
Can anyone have more talent than this man? He plays every instrument, writes songs, looks at his audience and then talks to you after.
He is a spirited and gifted musician with a warmth about him and a genuine person.
Fantastic night at the Wonder Bar!! Jake put on a great show!!
