JAGGED EDGE IN CONCERT:

Silky smooth vocalists Jagged Edge had an active 2013, headlining the Spring Love Tour in addition to their appearances on The Kings of R&B World Tour. Casting their velvety tones over packed houses around the globe, the classic quartet reminds those old school R&B fans exactly how it's done, actively building anticipation for their 2014 tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“Jagged Edge was on fire!”

“Jagged Edge, what a lady’s dream! All of these wonderful men serenading ME! Well that’s what it felt like!”

“Jagged Edge was the highlight of the night, they are so friggin’ sexy!”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jagged Edge ruled the R&B airwaves in the late ‘90s and 2000s with hits like “The Way That You Talk,” “I Gotta Be,” and “He Can’t Love You.” In 2000, their second album in J.E. Heartbreak  went double platinum, earning them their first No. 1 with "Let's Get Married" and solidifying their status as one of the biggest R&B acts of the era. The 2011 release of The Remedy marked the band's sixth consecutive Top 10 album on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, garnering critical acclaim and kicking off an international tour.

This was one of the better concerts that iI have been too!! Everything was good except the intermission...needed a DJ or something @ the beginning and in between artist changes!!

  • Jagged Edge did not disappoint

    by bossldy71 on 4/11/10Fair Park Bandshell - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

Jagged Edge as usual met my expectations they were on stage for 30 minutes which was 10 minutes more than I expected. I will never go to a Jagged Edge concert again this is the third time I have seem them with the same mediocre performance. Tank and Avant were amazing, Jagged Edge performance is what bought this rating down.

I went to see Tank, Avant and Jagged Edge perform at the Fair Park Bandshell in Dallas. I ended up being about 20 minutes late because I got a little lost trying to find the venue. Being late didn't matter, at first, because when we arrived, It still hadn't started yet. It was supposed to start at 7 pm and didn't end up started until 830!!!! The people in the audience were very upset! I can undrerstand a few minutes late or even 15 minutes late BUT an HOUR AND A HALF! There was NO excuse for that! Well, Tank was up first and his performance was worth waiting for. His voice sounded great, he interacted with the crowd and got his background singers involved. It was great. Avant was also entertaining and sounded great. After waiting all that time for Jagged Edge to perform, they came out and only sang 3 mongs and left the stage....VERY DISAPPOINTING! They sounded great but could have given the fans a little more. I am thankfull that atleast Tank and Avant gave us what we came to see. Also, when you purchase tickets on ticketmaster, it would be nice if a description of the venue is given. I live in the Dallas area but had no idea that the Badshell was an outdoor venue. It was rather cold by the time the show started and some people probably would have reconsidered their attire had they known it was an outdoor event.

  • Ladies Choice was just that!

I thought all three groups were very entertaining. Tank was the star of the show. I really didn't know much about his music, but I will look for his music for now on. I went to see Jagged Edge, but they did not perform like I expected. But overall it was a great show. Oh and Avant was wonderful to watch as well. Thank you guys for visiting Dallas!

It was a great show! Tank Avant and JE did a great job! they all sounded great. They still got it. Vocals for all of them was amazing...R&B is still real..Thanks for the show! Only one complaint the show started 1 1/2 hours late and NO ONE came on to entertain us while we wait.

The show was about an hour late but worth the wait!

  • 80's Babies Part 2 a little disappointing..

I was a bit upset to find that the concert was not as great as I thought it would be. Some of the artist's performance were sub par and the concert would have been better off without them (Queen Penn). Jagged Edge and Lil Mo were the headliners to me! They were exceptional and I would see them whenever they perform.

  • Jagged Edge Was Amazing && Lil Mo Still Got It!

by Anonymous on 11/26/09Nokia Theatre Times Square - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Jagged Edge did a bunch of songs, Where the Party At, Walked Outta Heaven, Put A Lil Umph In It, Let's Get Married (of course), and their new single Tip of my Tongue. They were amazing!! Lil Mo was fantastic, and SWV did pretty well also. Junior Mafia came on first, and they were good as well. Queen Pen was a hot mess, she did like half a song and kept rambling so much the DJ kept playing music to cut her off. NORE did okay but he took forever to come on stage, they announced him like 4 times before he finally came out! Overall though it was a good concert for the $50 ticket price, and I was in the very first row!

  • Sidebars made the show

by Purlie on 9/21/09nTelos Wireless Pavilion - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great, through these diffucult times that everyone is facing, I loved it when Johnny Gill let Bobby know that he and Ralph Tresvant were behind him 100%, and they will continue to stand by him. The overall show was great. It wasnt like some show were it would been stripped, it had alot of side-bars that made the show very down to earth. Johnny, Ralph and Bobby, we are waiting for you in North Carolina.

I went because I'm a fan of Jagged Edge, however Heads of State took the show.

  • Heads of State were amazing to include Bobby Brown

Started a little late but that was fine. Jagged Edge was ok but needed a band behind.

  • Head of the state was remarkable!!!!

When I first got to the concert I was very happy with the seats that I had and then when jagged edge came out they sound just like their CD.

  • Heads of State & Jagged Edge

by Picola on 9/20/09nTelos Wireless Pavilion - PortsmouthRating: 5 out of 5

Jagged Edge were great they still have it!! The only problem was the lighting people were not able to keep the spotlight on them, some of the members in the group were in the dark while others had a spotlight..Other than That I loved them!!! Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill and Ralph Tresvant were outstanding. I would go see them in concert anywhere. Everything was perfect, the music the lighting and even the comedy of Bobby Brown..no matter what he is still the best entertainer!!!

I feel like the show was done properly and I am a big fan of JE and to watch the opening acts longer than watching JE sing was just dissapointing. I know if it was place that was hosting it's fault or the group but it was just bad. Sad fan of JE...

The group was amazing! This was my first concert ever! The group sang the song I fell in love with my husband. I Gotta Be is our song we live by, defines our love for one another. Great Group!
