JAGGED EDGE IN CONCERT:

Silky smooth vocalists Jagged Edge had an active 2013, headlining the Spring Love Tour in addition to their appearances on The Kings of R&B World Tour. Casting their velvety tones over packed houses around the globe, the classic quartet reminds those old school R&B fans exactly how it's done, actively building anticipation for their 2014 tour dates.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

“Jagged Edge was on fire!”

“Jagged Edge, what a lady’s dream! All of these wonderful men serenading ME! Well that’s what it felt like!”

“Jagged Edge was the highlight of the night, they are so friggin’ sexy!”

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jagged Edge ruled the R&B airwaves in the late ‘90s and 2000s with hits like “The Way That You Talk,” “I Gotta Be,” and “He Can’t Love You.” In 2000, their second album in J.E. Heartbreak  went double platinum, earning them their first No. 1 with "Let's Get Married" and solidifying their status as one of the biggest R&B acts of the era. The 2011 release of The Remedy marked the band's sixth consecutive Top 10 album on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, garnering critical acclaim and kicking off an international tour.

    Wasn’t the Best Experience

by DR on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

The concert was too short I think they were on stage maybe a hour if that, the audience was disappointed with how soon it ended. They sang to tracks which was not the best sound quality, wasn’t a good experience at all. I still love Jagged Edge and their music but I will probably not see them again in concert.

It could have been longer and it needed more performance

    Disappointed

by Dixson on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

The show started off great and ended terribly! The group left the stage with no ending to the show and they only performed maybe 30mins after pricing the tickets for a full show! The opening act stayed on stage longer than opening act we paid for! Disappointed being my FIRST Jagged Edge concert!

    Horrible

by DA on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

Worst concert EVER! Mics definitely needed a sound check. Group only performed roughly 10 songs over a 30 minute period and departed the stage.

    Trash performance

by Yvonne on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

Some unknown band played for over a hour. The show started late and Jagged Edge only performed for 30 minutes.

I love them but it was crazy short

by Tiniqwa on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

We spent $189 on our tickets for a 90 minute show. I don’t like how fast it was over . Just didn’t feel like I got my money worth .

    Good, but Very Brief

by CW on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

When we got there a staff member was trying to invite us to another event at the venue that started at 9. I told her we were going to the JE concert. She said it would be over before this other event was over because house rules are 1.5 hours for the show. I thought maybe she didn’t know what she was talking about, but to my disbelief she was correct. The Natural Change band that came on before the headliner was great. They came out at about 8:20 (concert was supposed to start at 8). They played for about 45 mins. They took the instruments off the stage (10 mins) and the DJ came out to pump up the crowd (10mins). JE came out performed snippets of songs and did a lot of talking. They started performing ‘Where the Party At’ and half heartedly threw up the peace sign and said “good night.” The crowd was confused because it was a little after 10 and they didn’t come on until after 9. It was until the DJ hurriedly started packing up her stuff that people realized it’s really over. They still sound good, but that was hardly a concert. Very disappointing especially since there was another event going on at another venue in DFW that received rave reviews and didn’t cost much more than what we paid for this appearance.

    Short show/Bad Sound System

    by Emagicj32 on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

The sound system was horrible. Did sound like a sound check was done. Not a well put together show. Jagged Edge came out for only 30-40 minutes and said peace and walked off the stage. The audience was surprised thinking they were taking an intermission because the show was so short. No choreography or anything. Im a big Jagged Edge fan but the have to do better.

    Worst Exit Experience Ever

by Social Butterfly on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

The guest that came on before Jagged Edge was awesome. The sound was absolutely amazing. Jagged Edge appeared to be so unorganized and they exit the stage and we were like WHAT!!! That's it.. My husband & I didn't know whether to leave or stay but when we saw the DJ roll up her cords we left. Worst Show Ever!!!!!

You get what you pay for!

by London on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

All I can say is I got my $69 worth of entertainment. Natural Change put in more effort than J.E. Natural Change was great, however, J.E. was just ok. I expected more from Grammy wining artists.

    They need to do better

by Was That It? on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

They lack stage presence. They sing one verse of a few songs and the entire song of about three songs. At the end everyone was confused as to if the show was over because they just walked off. No good bye, no thank you to the crowd-nothing. It took the DJ putting up her equipment for everyone to put the clues together.

    Very Disapponted

by Munyay on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

They performed for 30 minutes and left the stage without even saying bye or thank you. Very disappointed in one of my fvorite groups...It will be a very long time before I pay to see them in concert again.

    Great discography. Terrible stage presence.

by Jon on 2/19/24Bruton Theatre - Dallas

Jagged Edge didn’t provide much of a show. They performed “maybe” 35mins out of the 2hr time slot. The opening act performed longer. Also, they just up and left without a farewell. I wouldn’t see them again but i’ll jam their music all day.

    I Felt Twenty Again!

    by Skinnery on 2/6/24

I saw Jagged Edge, 112 and Next at Oakdale Thestre in Connecticut. The place was packed! The three groups came to sing dance and party. They gave a show that was worth that was top notch. They sang to the music, sang without music and never missed a step. Well done👏🏾👏🏾
