Wonderful. Jackie is so enjoyable. Extremely funny. Never fails to make you laugh.
We've seen Jackie Mason years ago, as well as on TV, and we always were hysterical. Unfortunately, this performance was not at all good, below par, and certainly not what we expected. The beginning was very political, not all that funny, and a huge turn off. Jackie is to the right politically and though we're not and we can laugh with either side, this was over the top and alienating. We expected to hear the old Jewish shtick, some of which followed, but the routines were old, repetitive, and by that time, we'd had it.
So funny with material current and older material as well
Jackie Mason can still captivate his audience, and I suspect always will be able to do so. Glad to see him again.
Still going strong. Young couple next to me laughing as hard as I was
He is soooooooo funny, I almost pissed my pants! It's totally amazing he Jackie Mason can turn something so common, normal and mundane into somethings to completely hilarious... it defies description.....
He was funny, hilarious, relevant to the times we are living through, and a true gentleman. Incredible show that I could recommend to people of all ages, genders, demographics, and political party affiliations! He is a living legend!
There is no one funnier than Jackie Mason! He's Sharp, Witty and Truly Funny. I have been to at least 100 of his shows and have his CD's. **Warning** Don't Drive while listening to his CD's, I almost crashed from Laughing! Clean Humor, Witty and just a Plain Old Riot!! If you have a chance, look up a some of his old shows on YouTube for instant Laughs! I've gotten to know him personally over the years and he's really a down to earth person who Truly Appreciates his Fans. Love him!!! Jackie is Brilliant, there are very few Comedians who come close!
Yet it still works Catskill borscht belt jewish humor at its best No politician is safe and your side hurts from laughing so loudly
fun for all laugh till the tear come out. absolutely hilarious
still strong over 80 + years old. A true classic. Me and my family met him behind the theater and he was very nice. He said that he thought it was very sweet for my sister to draw him a self portrait.
Just love the guy , one of a kind! Last time I had the pleasure to watch Jackie live was many years ago at his one man Broadway show, ,he is still the best
He's still got it! We never stopped laughing. No notes, no cards, all from memory and straight off the cuff. He had us hysterical the whole time. Jackie Mason is the best!
Mostly all old jokes....some new sprinkled in about Trump....but still funny!
My husband and I saw Jackie Mason show at Bergen Performing Art Center in Englewood, NJ. Show started on time and if it was even twice long we don't mind. We laugh so hard, as well as other people in the audience. And we were energize by 86 years old Jackie Mason be able to do such a great job. Hopefully he will be able to perform some more shows next year. We will treasure a memory of this and previous his shows for years to come. Thank you, Jachie Mason.
The Good:He's on for about 45 minutes, then takes a 20 minute break, then comes out again for about 40 minutes - so he gives you more time than the usual comedian does. The Bad: the first 45 minutes were completely about bashing Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. "They never accomplished anything before (or after) they were elected" was his basic theme, which he revisited many times. The Good: The 40 minutes were better - he stayed off of politics, which, in my opinion, "is none of his business", as he said about other things.
Although a comic icon, Jackie seemed to forget where he was going with some of his jokes-never got to the twist or part that made the narrative funny. Too political. Some parts funny, other parts offensive/racist. Not my kind of humor. Disappointing as I like his CDs/DVDs. Sorry Jackie.
I love Jackie Mason but I think he needs to hang up the hat. He wasn't good. He did a lot on politics which for 15 minutes it was funny but the rest was not and he took a long intermission and came back and did something that wasn't funny on Ferguson. He did none of his old jokes which are funny and it's obvious he's getting very old and it was tough for him. This will be my last Jackie Mason show.
I love Jackie Mason and enjoyed most of his show at the Bergen PAC. My only complaint was that he spent too much time on his political views, over and over and over. I would have liked to have heard more of his "take" on everyday life.
