Jack' Mannequin rocked the house! Putting out an awesome set list and coming out with such energy you wished they could play all night. Vedera and FUN both got the crowd going with so much fun and emotion it left me asking, when are they going to have their own headlining tour? Overall it was a great night with every band giving their best performance.
Fantastic show. This was opening night of the tour, and you could tell Andrew was fired up and full of energy. Everyone (well, everyone except the bass player at least) was having a blast on stage and the crowd plugged into that energy. The band really rocked, put on a great show, and it was a great time. The U2 cover was a pleasant surprise. My wife was bummed they didn't play "Swim," but otherwise it was a fantastic show. We missed one of the opening bands, but the one called "fun" was a good time. Go see this tour, you won't be disappointed.
The concert was amazing! I love Andrew McMahon and he puts on an amazing show!
The show was absolutely incredible. Andrew and the guys played a lot of favorites plus a couple of lesser known songs. He is such an amazing performer, climbing onto his piano, playing it with his feet and then jumping off again. This show was the first night of tour so everyone had a ton of energy and Andrew kept saying how much he appreciated is coming out to support music. The setlist was organized in a way that gave a perfect balance between old, new, dancey and quiet. I'm seeing them again and I can't wait!
This show was unbelievable. Absolutely amazing, astounding, what have you. Vedera and Fun. were fantastic opening acts with high energy and great music. Jack's Mannequin took the stage with amazing energy that radiated through the whole place playing a range of songs from their albums as well as others. Truly a night to remember.
Everything about this show was great. Andrew knows how to put on a show and sounds even better live. They even played two extra songs and even though when you think of Jack's mannequin you think slower music but the crowd was great. I can't wait till he comes back.
This was an incredibly fun concert. The crowd was super energetic and the performers (especially the final two: Fun and Jack's Mannequin) fed off the excitement, reincarnating it into their performance and behavior. The lead singer of Fun (who used to be with The Format) jumped around like crazy and Andy from Jack's Mannequin jumped onto his piano three times and ended up playing with his feet. The venue was packed. I would definitely recommend going to see Jack's Mannequin live and hope to do it myself again.
Jack's Mannequin put on a fantastic performance! He really connected to the crowd which made us energenic. Both his voice and piano playing were great live.
The man is so full of energy you can't help but be drawn to him. Andrew McMahon not only is a gifted pianist, and vocalist, his perfomance was an athletic feat. Man oh man can he belt out a tune. His shirt was soaked and he had to use a bath towel to mop up after each song, but he absolutely embraced his audience and his music. I will be back to see him next time.
This concert was great. I think what made it, besides the actually band, was the other bands they were touring with. I actually went to see Fun. but Vendra and Jacks Mannequin preformed quite amazing.
Andy was amazing! his voice and songs were emotional and energetic. definitely will see him again. This was the first date of his Sing for Supper tour!
Jacks Mannequin always puts on an amazing show. Andrew Mcmahon gets so into rocking out on the piano, whether its with Jacks or with Something Corporate. His shows are always amazing. I hadn't seen FUN before either and they also put on quite a performance. Their lead singer got really into the music and their vocal harmonies were pretty cool.
All bands put on a great show and will be sure to see jack's mannequin everytime he comes back!!!!!!! The best concert i've been to in a very long time!
Great show, they sounded great and the crowd was into it.
I did only go to the show to see Vedera, even though Jack's Mannequin is a great band, there was another couple acts that I wanted to see. However, Vedera was as clear a crisp as can be. Better than their newest CD "Stages". Go to the show, but don't skip the opener, Vedera. Really good songwriters.
the big show has some bands that i had not heard before or heard nor more then one song so i wasnt really expecting much mainly waiting for all american rejects to come out. Well the first band a local san jose band the limosinones came out and performed and i loved their energy their music had a techno vibe that i havent heard of lately and made me an immediate fan. Air Borne toxic event were a little disappointing but still a great performance it amazed how every band member knew how to play every instrument. Streep Sweeper social club was AMAZING i love their rock and rap feel the main singer had a little old school in him, they got hte crowd pumped. Gas light anthem was nothing special. Jacks mannequin though i am not a big fan got the crowd going. All American rejects were phenomonial the main singer was crazy all over the floor they were definitly what the crowd was waitng for they sand a mixture of all their hit songs. I didnt get to see flogging molly but most of the crowd was leaving affter AAR performed
didn;t stick around for FM or all american rejects, but JAck's Mannequin, Gaslight Anthem, Airborne Toxic Event and the Limousines were all great. Street Sweeper Social Scene was also pretty good, but a litlle heavier than my taste
The Big Show ended up being just that! 7 bands over the course of 6 hours. Every one of them, great. For my party, the highlight was The All American Rejects. Frontman Tyson Ritter worked the crowd with a vengence, leaving everyone exhausted. All in all, a really great show!
All the bands put on a great show, only disappointment was with the sound engineer for Gaslight Anthem and the lighting guy for All American Rejects.
